Great product great price - only one concern
This great product comes at a great price - however, after about 2 months of steady bike riding (70 miles per week) my crank is seriously worn and I hear noises as I now have cross chaining. The bike shop tried to fix this three times and even replaced the crank but to no avail. What next?

Great pedals!
Perfect size, perfect color and feel great under foot!

Grippy, large
Easy install, Stamp 1 size large is both wider and longer than the factory pedal it replaced, accomodates a size 13 6E shoe well, good grip studs prevent slipping in damp riding

The hype is real
These size L pedals are legit for big footers. Gear grip, well made. Fairly light for the size. Stoked

Huge Improvement Over Stock Pedals
I got the largest size and its a great improvement over the stock pedals on my bike. More room for my feet so they aren't frequently making contact with the chain etc.

Possibly Overkill for Hybrid Bikes
I wanted to upgrade my stock Wellgo pedals (first pic) with something larger for my big feet. After reviewing every large platform pedal on the market I ordered these "Stamp 1" composites in size L. The other contender was the OneUp Composite but several reviewers stated that riders could feel the spindle bulge thru their shoe so I opted for the Crank Bros. one. Here are my Pros and Cons- Pros: 1) Decent size foot bed but the actual dimensions are 110 x 110. If you used large calipers they probably measure 115mm due to the offset design but the foot bed is 110mm. 2) The semi-raised (convex) spindle has not been an issue for me and I ride with the ball of my foot on the spindle, not like real mountain bike riders over the arch. 3) The pedals spin freely, or close to it, right out of the box. Not tight at all, which is generally a sign of quality. I know very little about the entire spindle assembly but the exploded view looks impressive. Crank Bros. even sells a Refresh Kit for those who log many miles. 4) Since the traction pins are set at their highest setting, grip was very good while seated and like Super-Glue when out of the saddle. 5) There are 9 traction pins on each side. The asymmetrical layout places 3 at the front, 2 at the back, and 4 near the spindle. At first I thought this would be an issue since I'd always be looking down to get the right side of the pedal up. But it always has 3 pins forward no matter which side of the pedal you're on. 6) It feels very solid for a composite pedal. I have not experienced any bend, even toward the front or back, away from the spindle. 7) One other thing worth mentioning, and is not a pro or con, is that one pedal (left) says Stamp_1 on it and the other pedal (right) has the Crank Bros. logo on it. 8) Without being an expert, but having owned numerous bikes and pedals, the weight of these pedals seems good to me. Neither featherweight nor heavy. Just about right for the size I would say. Cons: 1) I did not need an instruction manual and none comes with the pedals. They tell you to go to the Crank Bros. website for details. The website suggests a torque setting for tightening but their photo shows a non-torque hex wrench. There is no wrench flat/spindle nut on the pedals so I'm not sure how easy these will be to take off later with just a hex wrench. 2) The distance between the pedal and the crank arm is minimal (see pic). This somewhat defeats the purpose of buying a larger pedal. I almost feel like my ankle bone will hit the crank arm. So I ride with 1/2" of pedal showing on the inside to compensate. 3) Since I ride a hybrid-type bike, I backed out some of the traction pins to about 67% height. However, it seems like there is no version of Loctite on the threads, so I feel like the pins may vibrate out at some point. This seems like an oversight. If anyone has experience in this area I would love to hear from you. 4) The pedals were shipped in a cheap gray plastic bag, no padding. I was fortunate to receive mine undamaged. Overall these are pretty solid pedals. If the spacing between the pedal and crank arm was a little wider, and I felt that the traction pins would stay in, I would have provided a 5 Star rating.

Nice
Color matches my new specialized status pretty well. Happy with the material and the grip provided from the metal pins.

Had more grip
As you can see on the picture they are bigger than the regular pedals that came with the bike, seems to be a good quality made, slim design match color bike I do recommend them

Very grippy
These are excellent pedals, thought I’d bought the wrong size as these looked huge and goofy on my bike compared to my old cheapo ones. I bought the large as I have uk 9.5 feet, once riding these proved to be the perfect size. My shoes never slip out of position, these are very grippy and not having my foot overhanging the pedal means I can push more power through the cranks. I’m very happy with my purchase, no regrets these are worth every penny and deserve their great reputation.

Big and grippy
Edit to add, one pedal seized. Seal failed, water got in, rusted internals. Came apart ok although there’s no line of site from the end to get a torx allen style key in, had to use torx bit and an 8(?) mm spanner but as you undo the screw it winds out onto the body so you can’t fully remove the screw with the bit all the way, so had to use pliers with a rag on the jaws ???? see how the warranty works out now then My size 12s always mean I have to ride a bit pigeon toed or my heals catch the cranks. Not with these in large. Nice natural potion for the feat. Big platform. Shallow depth. Loads of grip … but careful you don’t catch the grub screw studs with they are sharp. Maybe they will wear in but if you pedal strike the ground that could break a grub screw and give a lethal edge maybe They did not tighten fully home in the crank arms tough which is odd. Must check that

My Fave Flat MTB Pedals
Colored pedals are gorgeous on my bikes! And I love the size options because I have tiny feet, the small is just right for me. The pins are very grippy, even using different flat pedal shoes. Very solid construction, too, and slim profile. I've installed these Crankbrothers pedals on all my 3 bikes, gravel, mtb, and fat bike.

Good pedal. A bit pricey compared to some others. One pedal faded in colour.
The pedal feels very solid and even though I have only had for a day now I can tell it will last a long time. I gave four stars as the colour red which I chose is a bit faded or lighter on one pedal. The pedal also arrived with some scratches on it but other than that I’m very happy with the purchase.

Cool Pedal Tech
After one-too-many tumbles / injuries on SPD's I finally decided enough was enough. I am also sick of reserving specific shoes & cleats to ride. Bought Large / Black combo for my Trek Roscoe and couldn't be happier. Very (VERY) high quality engineering. Easy self-fit. My preferred combo now these with Adidas Terrex X-Trail shoe. Super comfortable / optimisable (reverse x 10 x allen key grip adjust) for the wet and slippy. Honestly debatable whether I'm slower, but more importantly I feel safe and am enjoying my rides again. Can get my foot off quickly in an emergency & since my cycling now underpins the other major passion of photography - these pedals are a much more practical solution for me.
