No fun walking with it, handle is lacking

The description nowhere says this bag is optimized for carrying and walking. It isn't. Walking any significant distance with this wheel bag is an unpleasant experience. The single handle is thin and it resides on only one side of the opening. An additional handle positioned near the center would be a huge improvement. Wider, padded double handles would help greatly. It's difficult to carry this bag without scuffing its bottom along the pavement. The thin handle aggravates so you need to change hand position frequently. For taking a wheel in your car or pickup, this bag is fine. It's sturdy. It's fairly heavy even when empty. All said, the M-Wave bag is great for the price. I have no worries about scuffs or damage to the fabric. It's plenty roomy for my purpose -- something I was concerned about. Possibly too roomy for some wheels. I was able to fit my 700C rear wheel with its 40mm inflated tire. In addition, I packed a couple of tires alongside, one on each side (700Cx25mm wire-beaded clinchers). It was on the tight side, but I had no problems zipping the thing up.

Use these bags for our demo fleet

I’ve bought over a dozen of these bags for transport use of a mtb and emtb demo fleet. These aren’t as burly as the super tough and padded bags that SRAM used to make, but they have held up well over two seasons of heavy use. They hold inflated 2.3x29 wheels fairly easily…we occasionally partially deflate 2.6x29 wheelsets just to make things easier on ourselves. Wouldn’t mind a bit thicker material and padding or burlier handles and zippers, but our wheels haven’t had any damage or issues using these bags and the bags have held up just fine.

Great Value, wish it had dual handles

These wheel bags are a great value. They have a thin layer (thinner than 1/4", but thicker than a sheet of vinyl/canvas) of padding. It's not the super thick padding that you would get with an expensive wheelbag, but for this price, most wheelbags have no padding whatsoever. You can only fit one wheel in each bag. I can fit my Firecrest Tubular in with it with an inflated tire without any issues. I don't have to take the skewer out either. The bag has a small storage pocket at the top that you could put a trainer skewer in. My one complaint is that the carrying handle is only on one side of the zipper opening. So, if you were to put a wheel in it, you would have to zip it closed to carry it. Otherwise it will fall open and the wheel might fall out.

Excellent quality

The media could not be loaded. I was afraid because of some reviews but I very satisfied with the quality of the bags, they fit perfect. Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF and Maxxis Assega fully inflated.

Great one wheel bag; know what you are buying

Great single wheel bag for the money; I transport my road bikes by removing the front wheel putting the bike in a Velosock in the back seat of my car to protect the light tan leather interior and putting the front wheel in this bag. This bag fits all of my 700c carbon wheels; the only one where the bag doesn't zip all the way is my 700x28' tires; one of my wheelsets are wider Zipp 404 Firecrest's with 25mm tires, its a tight fit but I can still zip the front wheel into the bag; might be easier if I removed the quick release skewer and put it in the zippered pocket provided but where the pocket is located I am afraid it will scratch the rim. This bag is primarily good for protecting your car or house from dirt & grime on wheels after a ride; helping prevent minor scratches and dings on carbon wheels but this bag is not padded and is not designed to provide much protection to your precious carbon fiber for that you'd need to spend at least 3x what this costs.

Misleading description

Description states "wheelset" however bag is for a single wheel. Two bags are actually required. There is only a single handle strap so the bag sags to that side. Also overpriced as there are numerous very similar wheel bags for significantly less. The one good thing are the padded circles on both sides for the hubs.

Fits 29" x 2.5" Maxis MTB tires

I'm not sure why it's so hard to find this info in specs/reviews (I spent forever trying to get reassurance before just taking the risk and ordering these!), but it DOES fit my 29"x2.5" MTB wheel with fully inflated tire and rear sprocket still attached. The fit is snug but complete, and I'm sure the bag will stretch a bit. I ordered two of these: one for rear, one for front, and given that the rear fits I know the front will be just fine.

Fits inflated 27.5 x 2.8" wheel

I bought this 29er wheel bag to carry a 27.5+ wheel with an inflated 2.8 inch tire. This bag accommodates my wheel easily. It seems well constructed. There are reinforcements sewn into the interior in the areas in contact with the hub. Only drawback is there's only one handle strap. I only use the bag to keep the dirty wheel away from my car's upholstery, so the single strap is not an issue for me

Roomy bags with padding to boot.

I have an in car rack installed in my SUV which requires removal of the front wheels of two bikes. The Rotterdam wheel bags are large enough to fit our 700 x 32mm front wheels and are also big enough fit the larger cogged rear wheels. The fact that they are padded is great as the two wheels are stowed side-by-side behind the driver and passenger front seats. Without these bags, the wheel skewers would likely puncture the back of the leather seats.

Good quality

I bought these for my 29 inch mountain bike rims and tires. The bad news is the 29 inch wheels don't fit. The good news is that my 29 inch rims and tires will fit in the wheel bag if I let all of the air out of tires. A bit of a hassle but better than nothing. Wish they were a little bit bigger. They do the job once yo let the air out of the tires. Update March 14, 2020: The bags must have stretched because I can keep my inflated, 29 inch mountain bike wheels in the bag no problem and they zip closed. Update March 16, 2020: Once of the handles just broke. I still like the bags but now a hassle to carry wheels without a handle.

This is a good buy

My bike has 29 2.5 tyres as you can see and this bag fits it well and zips closed. It is a decent product! The only thing I can criticize is that the handles are pretty short but it protects the tyres well.

The quality is good, but was a very tight fit for my 26x4 fat tire on rim.

Too small for 26x4 fat tire and rim. It’s in but felt like I was going to damage zipper
