Innacurate sizing chart

The sizing charts were off, I had to return them. They run smaller than the charts lead you to believe. The item was a quality product. The padding did seem very hard even for sparring but hopefully it softens after use. I would have definitely have kept them if the sizing chart were accurate.

Great Quality and Look

I couldn't be anymore satisfied with everything that comes with these shin gaurds 100% worth the $...the padding on the foot could be a little longer, but its longer than most gaurds anyway so A+ all around!

Not a very good product.

The X-Large size runs on the small side. I've already sent it back. The shin padding doesn't look like it would protect your shins at all.

Very good construction. Will last a looong time. Won't rotate.

I've bought and worn out many shin guards over the years. For me, these are the best for MMA and kickboxing, not just MMA. I've used Combat Sports, Meister, RDX, Revgear, Century, Hayabusa, UFC, and Top King. The green Top Kings were $120, leather, muay thai, and amazing. But the weakness is the leather velcro strap that goes around the calf. The velcro can only last a couple years, and all the strap shin guards are vulnerable to rotating with glancing blocks and kicks. MMA shin guards are locked on once you have a little sweat on. The $40 - $60 pleather shin guards fall apart within a year or two, and of course the non-MMA need to be repositioned during sparring. These Fairtex have thicker construction everywhere, and they have leather at the impact point where it matters most. The neoprene calf sock portion is thick and has a V cut out of the bottom, making them easier to get on and off. Like finally someone learned the lesson on how to design the neoprene from ripping when pulling the heel out. The strap that connects to the foot pad to the foot is usually thin, and stretchy, and worthless after a few weeks. This is thick and solid, and well stitched. I wouldn't be surprised to see it last for years. In summary, spend the extra $20 bucks to get shin guards that will last more than 2 years. Won't rotate on you when sparring. And won't disintegrate after a year, year and a half. You'll easily get your money's worth over the long haul.

AMAzing

I’ve had them for a couple of years and they have held up very well. Amazing shinguards. They run small but they stretch a little bit afternoon some uses...dint get them too big. The padding’s is amazing and protects very well

VERY SMALL, great quality

Read other reviews that these fit small and so, being a 5'4" tall woman, I went ahead and bought the mediums, hoping they wouldn't be too big. The mediums were STILL too small, and so I've gone ahead and ordered the large. Size issues aside, I can't wait for them to arrive. They are really great quality and light-weight, not bulky like other shin guards. The larges have, at the time I ordered them, a really long ship time, though (1 to 3 months).

Leather guards.

Leather guards are hard to find and will outlast every plastic ones. My Fairtex are comfortable too.

Way too tight, nearly impossible to take off. Returned and bought the ones with the strap instead. ????????
