Good Storage for the Price
I was able to get 3 rod/reel combos positioned into the case, along with tackle and knife, etc. You have to position the reels just right so the case will close. The photos show the combos taken apart, but who wants to take them all apart every time and put them back together? But still useable if you are creative. Good case for the money.

Good case, I'm not crazy about the foam
The plastic case is a nice solid case. It's comparable to the kinds of cases you get with a power tool. There's enough room inside for four rods with attached reels and a little bit of other gear. Having a single case that can hold multiple rods can cut down on the trips from the truck to the ice house. My single gripe with the case is I really don't like the foam inserts that are supposed to hold the rods. If I were to carry detached rods, the inserts would be good. I found they struggled to hold my rods with attached reels. What I've found is the weight of the reels can cause the foam to detach, making opening the case a clumsy experience. One thing I could have done to fix this is to glue the foam pieces to the case. I didn't choose to do that. To better meet my needs I replaced the foam with egg shell foam through both of the large cavities of the case. I haven't taken it out yet, but I think it should work better for my needs. The one sacrifice I'm making with this system is there will be less room between the rods.

Generic box
Bought 2 first one had handle beeak off on the first trip of the season and second one had a crack on the bottom from having something below it in the sled must have hit a bump and it bounced. Not the best quality but they both protected the poles from breaking so they got decent reviews consitering

Not Bad.
For years I stored my ice fishing rods in the same buckets that went onto the ice with me. With all of my fly and spinning rods cased/tubed, I figured it was time for the ice rods to be properly stored during the offseason. This case fills the need perfectly. It's your typical light-duty, molded plastic case, like one would find on tackle boxes. The two halves match up perfectly and the latches snap tightly and securely. It comes with 4 removable foam inserts that can be inserted/adjusted to fit the length of your rods. Bear in mind the inserts are only made of foam and you will get some movement of your rods if reels are attached. Not an issue for me, since I'm only using it for storage. With reels attached, I can safely store/transport 6 rods. Without reels I can get 10 rods in this case! If you were to use it on the ice, I doubt that you would lose it short of a blizzard due to it's bright, red color! It also comes with two plastic utility boxes for jigs, tackle and the such. Overall, worth the asking price!

Not deep or secure enough
I tried this out for my ice rodsbut am now buying a different case to replace this one. It is an ok case, and is pretty durable. The foam cores hold the rod in place but there's nothing to support the handles nad the weight of the reel so the bounce around and come loose. I tried to add some straps to hold reels down, but it doesn't work great. Also, if you use inline reels, its not deep enough for the reel to fit vertically, so they all end up sideways, further complicating getting rods in and out. If you use the old Schooley rods or only spinning reels, it may work, but I am abandoning mine in favor of a different model with more depth and a better way to secure rods in place.

Works as needed
My kid and I started to gain a bunch of ice fishing gear and was in dire need for storage solution. Picked up two of these and our poles are now protected and won't get broken in travel and storage.

Durable but meh
The box isn't long enough to fit a walleye ice rod and the gray foam pieces that hold the rods don't hold them very tightly so things shift around a little. The box is durable though and is one of the only storage options I could find that holds more than one rod.

You will not get 8 rods In this box
The construction of the box it’s self is not bad. It seems like it will last. The inserts to hold the rods are just tossed in with the box though so they need to be glued or taped in or they just fall out when you open the box. It realistically should say 3-4 rods though unless you plan on pulling off all your reals prior to putting them in the box.

Good quality, but not fit my needs
The box it was very well built. The case is sturdy and latches lock securely. Case seems robust enough to handle transport in a sled behind a snowmobile or packed into the truck with other gear. However, this one is not good on holding your rod with reel as the limited space, you should adjust the reel handle to fit the space and you could only put two rods with reel in it. Not really practical for me.

It really won't hold eight rods with reels on them. Not well anyway
It met all my expectations. I knew looking at it online that eight rods would be a challenge but I only ever carry two, so it works great for my use. It will hold extra rods but not with reels on them. That said there is lots of room to store other gear and the hard case is perfect for carrying in a sleigh. I can store all my tackle in there as well. So I'm very happy with it.

Well built, but not practical.
Ordered this thinking it will be a great replacement for my bucket, which I usually use to hold my ice rods. Out of the box it was very well built, and made in the USA. The case is sturdy and latches lock securely. However, after trying to fit my ice rods in there with reels on, I don't think this thing is worth the money I paid for it. There is no attachment to hold your reels securely in place when closed, and in order to fit your reels in there you have to fold down the handles (unless you have a very small ice reel). I have 2000 series Shimanos on my rods and they don't fit unless I fold the handles. Also, the description mentions you can fit 8 rods - this is inaccurate. With reels on, I would say 3 at the max. I don't like how when you close the box, the weight of the reel will flip it over inside the box and possibly may damage the delicate tips of your other ice rods. You can make a solution for this with a bungee or something like that, but for $70 bucks I don't want to be tinkering with a purpose made product. I returned this thing and will stick with my bucket, or attach some pipes to my sled for way less $. It may be a nice holder if you have an ATV or snowmobile, but it is bulky and awkward to carry in your sled.

Great box, rods are now safe
Great box very sturdy. I currently have three rods on the bottom half and a Ht ice rigger tip up on the top half. Holds the rods very securely I have no worries about their safety. The tip up falls loose every now and again but I just have take the time to figure out a way to properly secure it. Lots of storage in the small compartments near the handle. I store extra line and smaller items there. Comes with the two small boxes as shown but I haven’t found a use for them yet. I would recommend this box to anyone who needs to protect their rods.

Great for ice fishing gear
Not big enough for 6’ split rods unfortunately but keeps the ice gear together and protected in brittle cold weather which is why I bought it.
