Cable must be held down by zip ties, any movement may cause disconnect

I bought a 10 pack which was on sale from Amazon Warehouse, and I'm not sure if the reason it was returned was because of a defect or because of the issue that I have. I have three 1440p displays at 60Hz, and if I mess around with the back of my computer (like removing a USB stick), the vibrations will usually cause one of my monitors to go black. I have to reseat the cable on both ends, and often start reseating the other cables due to the new vibrations, until they're all happy again. I did find that zip tying the cable to my triple monitor mount did help a bit, but I do still have periodic issues. I'm happy with it for the price (from the Warehouse, not the new price, that's not great) but I wish they weren't so finicky.

For a 1.2 cable it's excellent!

I needed a 10 ft 1.2 display port cable and I'm very happy with what I received. Everything is as described and it came at an excellent price!

3 meters and above are NOT good for high refresh rates

The maximum refresh rates i could get with the 3 meter version are: 86Hz for 720p, 1080p and 1440p 60Hz for 2160p I tested this with a 1440p 165Hz monitor and a 1070 gpu. If you need higher refresh rates, don't go for anything other than a certified DisplayPort cable - There is a list of certified cables on the official DisplayPort website. All the cables on that list are rated to provide High Bit Rate 2 (HBR2) speeds, which is needed for higher refresh rates. The cheapest certified 3 meter cable i could find is by StarTech, which is working perfectly at 1440p 165Hz. Do your own research however.

Non risponde allo standard VESA e rischia di danneggiare scheda video, computer e monitor!

VERSIONE DA 3 MT. Il cavo non risponde allo standard VESA poiché anche il pin 20 DP_PWR è connesso, rischiando così di portare corrente dalla scheda video allo schermo e viceversa con possibili danni alla scheda video e al processore. Nel migliore dei casi il computer non mostrerà nessuna schermata e non si avvierà! Il produttore del cavo dovrebbe togliere l'indicazione di VESA compliant e indicare chiaramente che il cavo non DEVE ASSOLUTAMENTE essere utilizzato per connettere computer e monitor in modo diretto. Amazon, questa volta mi hai profondamente deluso! Ps: per quelli che nelle recensioni dicono che il cavo funziona: fare attenzione poiché dando alimentazione prima al computer e poi attaccando la corrente allo schermo tutto sembra funzionare ma se si spegne il computer, lasciando lo schermo acceso e poi si cerca di riaccendere il computer il problema si paleserà improvvisamente!

Does NOT work with 1440p 165hz g-sync.

Finally brought the inicio ivanky braided cable. Excellent cable. Please don't buy this for 144hz or more. will give problems very soon. TLDR: Know your TV/Monitor’s Refresh rate and res before buying this cable. Bad quality Cable even for the price, Cannot be used with High Refresh rate. You don’t need expensive digital cables! They say. That’s stupid. People say that because they think Digital data transmission has nothing to do with electrical conductivity. Anyways, This Cable is a good example of why you should invest in a Expensive cable from a good brand. Especially DP and HDMI. Any cable for that matter. Reason?. The switching frequency. Modern versions of data standards like DP and HDMI has an ever growing bandwidth requirement, but sadly the electrical conductivity of metals remain the same. This large bandwidth requires the 1s and 0s to switch at break neck speed. The quality of Copper, the connectors, the shielding, contacts everything plays a role. And decides the following: 1. How long the cable will last (Typ a good DP cable will last upto 5 Years, bad cable 6 months to 2yrs) 2. Capability to use with later equipment (like 4K+ TVs, needs much higher switching for that bandwidth). 3. Connection Issues. (Cable might not work during a reconnection). Why I gave only 2 stars It worked. But I can only use half of my monitor’s refresh rate with this cable. And I had connection issues too. I used it for an Asus PG279Q Monitor capable of 165 Hz at 2K res. When I get it working, I get only 85 Hz.

長さ3.0m(以上)のケーブルはWQHD(2560x1440)のモニターで144Hz等の高リフレッシュレートで動作しない

WQHD(2560x1440)@165Hzのモニター(ASUS PG279Q)とFHD(1920x1080)@144Hzのモニター(MSI MAC24C)用に、3.0mを2本購入しました。 FHDモニターでは144Hzまで設定できますが、WQHDモニターでは最大リフレッシュレートが85Hzまでとなっていました。あとから調べたところ、Amazon.com(米アマゾン)のレビューでは以前から指摘されている有名な不具合(仕様?)のようです。 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J8S7624?th=1#customerReviews 上記レビューを見ると、3.0m(10ft)以上のケーブルも同様にWQHD以上の環境で144Hz等の高リフレッシュレートが動作しないようです。 1.8mのケーブルは持っていませんが、レビューを見る限りWQHDモニターでも144Hzに設定できるようですね。ケーブル自体の評価ですが、細くはありませんが想定より柔らかくそれなりに取り回しやすかったです。結局、WQHDモニター用には以下のケーブルを購入しました。 VESA認定品とのことで信頼性も高く、WQHD@165Hzで問題なく使用できています。 Club3D DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 (High Bit Rate 3) 8K 60Hz Male/Male 3m 28AWG ディスプレイケーブル Cable (CAC-1060) https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07F85RQD2 高解像度かつ高リフレッシュレート環境の方で3.0m以上の長さが必要な場合は、別な製品をおすすめします。

INadequate shielding - caused image dropout.

I had the same issue both time I tried using this cable. The cable would hang down the back of the monitor, onto the desk, and down to the PC. If I put my hand near the cable, i.e. I put my hand near the monitor bezel, and close range to cable. The monitor image would drop out and go black. Pulling my havd away from the monitor and the image would return. It's basically junk.
