Good connection.
The cable Is alittle stiff, hard to bend in any direction. Has a good solid connection though.

quality is solid & durable, but quite stiff
It was a little stiffer than I would like- cable is very thick but it is difficult to stay in hdmi port on tv because it is very heavy.

Be aware that this hdmi cable is as thick, or thicker, than coaxial.
Be aware that this hdmi cable is as thick, or thicker, than coaxial. It’s probably high quality, but not suitable for all applications. I wanted it to run it across a ceiling between devices. It might be a great product, but it’s not appropriate for that. I gave it four stars because it’s probably a great product, considering how heavy and durable it is, I withheld a star because there’s nothing in the description that warns you that it’s 2 to 3 times thicker than a standard HDMI.

A Durable and High-Quality HDMI Solution
I have been using the Monoprice Certified Premium HDMI Cable for over a year now and am pleased to report that it has held up exceptionally well. The build quality of the cable itself is top-notch and I have experienced no issues with signal degradation or loss. In terms of performance, this cable delivers crystal clear audio and video quality. I have used it to connect a variety of devices, from my gaming console to my HDTV, and have consistently been impressed with the results. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Monoprice Certified Premium HDMI Cable and would highly recommend it to others in need of a reliable and high-quality HDMI solution. It has proven to be a durable and dependable choice for my entertainment setup.

Did You Read the CNET Article?
I recently read a CNET article that explains why you don't need fancy HDMI cables. I had read something like this before, but having recently purchased a new 4K TV, AV receiver, and some associated accessories, I was interested in saving some money and CNET is usually trustworthy. The article mentions Amazon Basics and Monoprice. I started with the Amazon Basics cables and then ordered these. Both are great for the money and perform as they should. I was having a weird issue with my TV (Vizio P-series) and receiver (Yamaha Aventage line) with the Xbox One X being plugged in. It seemed like the picture was dropping (TV would not recognize signal from receiver) when I would use certain apps and games with the Xbox. I went through a lot of different settings and at one point questioned the cables (Amazon Basics). While I was able to rule that out eventually, I bought these just in case because they are certified premium, meaning they have gone through some rigorous testing and have the paperwork to prove it. This might be meaningful to some, as Amazon Basics cables do not have this feature. That aside, the Monoprice cables have a better flex jacket and shielding. The connectors seem a bit more solid and overall like a more premium product. They are so close in price that it really depends on your own personal preference. Frankly, I don't have enough HDMI sources at the moment to use both cables. I settled on the Monoprice ones and have the Amazon Basics as backups or future cables for other devices. Anything I had lying around in my cable collection was donated, so now I only have high speed cables (the others may have been, but out with the old...). All that aside, I highly recommend these if you want a slight bump up in build quality vs. the Amazon Basics.

Works A Treat Apple 4K TV
For three years I have been watching Sky HD and Blu-ray DVDs via my 4k TV without a problem. Recently my TV was upgraded to an OLED TV and an Apple TV 4K and suddenly I noticed the picture wasn’t great. Fine on Sky, fine on Blu-ray but at the start of an Apple 4K film there was pixelation at the very start but only on black backgrounds. I assumed it was a setting in the Apple TV so I tried Netflix and although better, the image quality wasn’t like I expected, it didn’t wow me. After several hours on various AV Foums one suggestion and answer kept repeating itself, try a new HDMI cable, I was reluctant to accept this was the culprit at first as the one I was using wasn’t cheap and I’d purchased it as 4K enabled but in the end I replaced my cable with this Monoprice one. When it arrived I noticed it was slightly thicker than my current one, not a problem but the build quality did look impressive. I swapped my cables over and fired up the Apple TV I put the movie on with lots of black in the opening sequence and wow what a difference, no pixelation and a far sharper image in general. I’m one month in to using this cable please don’t let anyone tell you every HDMI cable is the same, they certainly aren’t when it comes to 4K material.

Premium Certfied HDMI cable
The Monoprice Certfied premium HDMI cables, "Premium Certified," which is actually a certification. It basically means the cable is more-or-less guaranteed to work with 4K and HDR. It's not required for 4K HDR, but if you see a cable that's Premium Certified and has the matching hologram and QR code, it's a pretty safe bet. The cables are certainly premium in their construction, being well made and look built to last, but flexible enough to feed them through a cable run that is part of our new 4k pro tv. They arrived in simple but well enough packaging ( I've had high end cables before from big brands and I think half the cost of those went on unessasery packaging). Being that the tv we have is mounted on a cantilever stand built into the cabinet , the 6ft cables I ordered were a perfect length running from the tv to a sky box and a ps4. Will these cables stand the test of time? Well there are only two "fails" with an HDMI cable. The most likely is you won't get any signal at all: A blank or flashing screen, the only other "fail" mode of HDMI cables is sparkles. This looks like snow on the screen. Well i certainly get a picture on my tv , so i know they work, and given that they are just plugged in and won't ever be removed unless necessary, I can't see them braking. So in conclusion at £5.99 per lead, I consider them to be very well made (easily on par with some big brand cables) , tight when connected (not lose in the hdmi port), and flexible enough if you need feed them through a cable run. Would recommend them without any hesitation. Any issues or if they suddenly fail ( I don't believe they will) I shall update this review.

Great quality and value, why spend more?
With so much smoke and mirrors around analogue audio cables you might get sucked into thinking you need to spend a fortune on digital hdmi cables but you don’t and these cables prove it. (You don’t actually need to spend a fortune on audio cables either) I heard about Monoprice cables on AV forums where they are well thought of by knowledgeable folks. For less than a fiver this Monoprice cable has been connecting my Apple 4KTV to my Denon receiver with no dropouts, glitches or issues, it’s great quality and great value.....there’s no need to spend silly money on digital cables, I recommend this product.

*UPDATED* Not as good as I was expecting on one of them.....Now both!
Well after roughly 6 months of use the other one has died. So if you're in the UK.....DON'T BUY THEM as they only come with a 30 Day Warranty! Luckily Amazon refunded me the money on the faulty second one so I'm not out of pocket! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I purchased two of these and they came really quickly from the US to the UK. They are a nice quality cable and in white so that they blend into the skirting boards a little better than the black ones as my AV Amp is placed at the side of the room. Fully certified which is what I wanted and they did come up as genuine after checking them on the certification app. The only problem I have is that one of them kept dropping the picture every so often but the sound was still there.....after checking the ends it looks like one of them maybe had a bad joint as if you moved it slightly the picture would come back again. The other one is working fine and that's why I dropped it by one star. Amazon customer service was excellent at sorting this problem out for me. Would I order more? Possibly....but not until the room gets decorated and I have to move everything out of the room. Quality cables but I was unfortunate to get a faulty one.

Wow! Wow! and WOW!
Amazon should have these in their own stock and be selling them! The quality of these cables is seriously heavy-duty. I had them chased into the walls, and needed to make sure these cables could do it all, and they do. 4K 60hz HDR 8bit/10bit/12bit. No sparkle, no blanks, the cables are very thick, superb shielding, have noticed no interference as they are laid near power lines too. I've been in the HDMI cables department for quite a while when it comes to having been there and done that and seen the mess that is out there. If you're thinking of these cables, YES you are right, THESE are the ones you need!
