It accommodates all the necessary things I have to carry.
I’ve used this brand & style Fanny Pack since the late 1980’s. I have not been happy with the zippers on the last few. I love the way it balances on my shoulder. I use it as a regular purse not as a Fanny pack. This is my everyday purse. If I go out to a dressy function I will use a dressy one then go right back to my Everett Fanny Pack. I’m 84 years old.

On the fence with this one
I recently bought this for the purpose of dog training treats and other training products. I am a larger female, so I was happy to find that the strap was big enough to fit around me with room to spare. There is plenty of room to carry the items I need to run, play & train with my puppy. The downside is that the main compartment which is the upper zipper that you can see on the left in the product photo is a real headache to deal with. The problem with the zipper is it catches on the inside every single time I unzip it all the way open. It is not a thin piece of material that usually will be the problem on other items that we all run into now and then. It is very thick and is very hard to maneuver out of the way in order to zip it back up. You definitely need two hands to operate it. One hand needs to firmly hold that area in such a way to get the zipper to bypass it while moving the zipper with the second hand. When I say you need two hands, I mean you need two hands. You can leave it unzipped if you don't mind things falling out of it when you are bending over, however, I don't appreciate losing product. I really do like this item for the purpose that I bought it for but I still have an issue with that zipper! I have owned it for about a month now and just can't get over that problem. The back-most pocket will fit any phone on the market, I am pretty darn sure of that. The next pocket (moving forward) has got plenty of room. I put various treats in empty, washed and dried prescription bottles. This works out pretty darn well, since I can't zip and unzip without a struggle. If one of these bottles falls out, I can hear it and know to pick it up. I usually have a couple of the larger size bottles that I previously described, a clicker (when being stored and not in use) and a tennis ball in that pocket. All of that fits in there just fine. The two pockets in the front are good for a number of other things such as car keys, money, ID, Credit or Debit cards, pony tail holders, etc. Just use your imagination. If you are like me and just can't get over the simply things being wrong (which in this case is only one thing - the zipper on the main pocket), look for another product similar to this. Trust me, that is not a small annoyance for a person that wants to get in and out with ease. The quality of the material from which it is made seems to be strong and durable, however, I have only had it one month. The strap is your typical strap that you would expect. I can tell you that my puppy has grabbed and pulled on it and I do not see any damage to the strap. I would rate this a 4 star if that one zipper was not such a problem. I hope this review is helpful to anyone shopping.

Roomy, Affordable, and Functional
This is a great little fanny pack. I wanted one for a recent trip to Florida, seeing as I did not want to walk around with a heavy purse on my shoulder or strapped across my body in the airport. This little bag delivered exactly what I needed. The back compartment was perfect for my wallet, lipstick and such. The next forward pouch was perfect for my iPhone (6+) and my travel documents/boarding pass with identification. It was very easy to open this pouch, grab my documents or my phone, put them back in and go! The small pouch on the front is great for holding that tip money, or if you are a smoker, it can hold a pack of cigarettes and a lighter easy. The small zippered pouch on front of this can hold change or a few pieces of gum or candy. The only pouch I find to be useless is the taller velcro pouch on the left. It has an opening at the bottom, so be very careful what you place in this pouch. I guess a small bottle of hand sanitizer would fit nicely without worry of falling out. The strap is adjustable and I was truly surprised with the long length. I adjusted the strap to the full length and it actually slipped off of me - and I do have hips to hold it up so I have room to grow :) but preferably room to shrink. This waist pack would be purchased again if it came in other colors, but basic black always works for me as well. With 5 compartments - 4 zippered and 1 velcro - this bag should offer up enough space for just about anyone. Material is durable and I like the way the pack travels and the way it is holding up to my abuse. PROS : price, compartments, strap length CONS: None for me. I WOULD recommend this product

Good quality and design overall.
I like Everest products. They're quite durable. After over a decade of use the polyester might fray a bit and some stitches break, but the zippers keep on working. I have two other fanny packs from Everest, each a different design, that I use for various purposes (one has a pocket for a water bottle). This product looks as durable as the my 2 other fanny packs. In this model, the pocket for the cell phone is rather small for most flip cell phones. Nowadays cellphones that do everything have grown larger and will not fit in this small pocket. However, there are plenty of other uses for this pocket and other compartments to arrange your belongings. This fanny pack has a long waist strap. (Similar product descriptions say it extends to waist size 42.) It is large but not bulky. The color is a beautiful intense jet black. The photos of this product and other denier polyester Everest products are deceptive because they pick up too many reflections, making the items look washed out. Aesthetically speaking Everest could use a different type of zipper pull. While the one in use in this fanny pack is very common, some Everest items use a pull made out of string, which I don't like, while others use metal pulls that have a somewhat fancier design (e.g. circular with star punched out). That's the type of detail that would give an otherwise drab item some character. On the plus side, the pull is large and easy to grab and it is NOT a painted enamel which scratches off too easily. As of this writing, the description of the material on this product page is wrong. This item is made of 600 denier polyester, not buckskin, and you can see clearly from the photo that it is polyester. The description should be corrected for future buyers.

Perfect for my nana!
Got this for my Nana for a bday gift. She has a bad back and shoulder and can't use regular purse. She loves the fit and comfort of it and it is big enough to fit everything She needs to carry

Holds all your stuff without too much bulk.
I've only had this bag for a couple weeks, so I don't know how long it'll last me or whether it's waterproof, but I love the way the compartments were designed. It holds a lot of stuff but the bag itself isn't bulky, and the compartments are much-better laid out than my LL Bean fanny pack. What can I fit in it? All the stuff you'd want to carry around with you (all kinds of ID, money, cards, cell phone, medication, lip balm, and more. The only drawback is that the zippers are a little stiff, especially when zipping around the corner of a pocket.

Comfortable and Roomy To!
My Husband always wears a waist pack during the summer months. This waist pack is perfect for everything he Carrie’s. The cell phone pocket is perfect for the size of his phone which is not always easy to find. I would recommend this waist pack for anyone who travels.

Comfortable and roomy pack
Very pleased with the pack. It's big enough for the essentials without being too bulky. The belt adjustment is simple and effective. The pack was much less expensive than others I considered, but does everything I need it to do for cross country skiing outings.

Mind you I don't wear it like a fanny pack
I use this for work. Bc I'm on the go a lot. Fits pen paper. Calculator my iPhone, scissors and cutting knives. I bought this bc I would loose my work tools in my work truck or if I was visiting a customers location and accidentally set something down. I haven't lost anything since I've been using this. Mind you I don't wear it like a fanny pack, I simply carry it around my shoulder

Good size
Liked the size for hiking, lots of pockets Didn’t like the extra long belt strap, had to cut it off.
