Easy to install and sturdy

We have ours in the garage holding 2 large kayaks. It was easy to insert the kayaks with the 4 carabiner clips.

Great for winter storage

Used to hang 2 10ft kayaks. Hung on outside wall under the deck for the winter. They have endured some pretty strong winds this winter with no problems.

WORKS but I recommend TWO PEOPLE FOR USE.

I envisioned this to be a much simpler process and even originally planned to make my own similar setup with cam-lock straps. Hanging the setup was easy as can be, it's the getting the kayaks loaded by myself that caused some frustration. Try to load the top long enough to pickup the bottom and the bottom slide far enough that the top falls out.....or the top falls as I get the bottom up and hooked, either way it was a bit frustrating......but I got it done and it fits well in the disaster of a garage. With TWO people to aid in loading and unloading, this should be an excellend setup. For me, one person, I'm going to fabricate or look into some prefabricated hooks/braces to mount my yaks. -Kevin

Well designed - Easy to set up and easier to load

I've had a system in place so eye screws were in, but snapping the plastic buckles were always a hassle. when a second one broke and needed a replacement I found these. These were easy to clip in, but they're really easy to load. I was able to install the system and load two 45-50 lb. kayaks alone in just a couple of minutes. Using a biner to clip into a D-ring is the key to making it easy to support the boat with one hand and clip in with the other. Put them in loosely and then cinch it up. Then load the second boat same way. Plus, the straps are wider and more sturdy than my old system and there's no plastic clips to struggle with and wear out.

Love it! Works even with cement walls!

Hangs like a charm! I hung my 2 kayaks in my garage for year round storage. It was nice that the eye hooks came with the package! My garage has cement walls which ended up being a tad bit of a pain. The sling is meant for placement in wood, however with a hammer drill and some concrete anchors, we made it work!! It's a tad bit of a pain to get the kayaks up and down and for sure would take two people BUT for the price you can't beat it! The clips that came with the sling work, but aren't the strongest! Luckily if they ever break it would be a cheap and easy fix to switch them out. Also, I'm hoping that since I'm hanging the sling in my garage, that it will last longer then some of the outdoor user reviews stated! Overall very happy!!!

Works well but a little pricey for two straps

The product hung my two kayaks easily. Added lots of room to my garage. Very easily installed. Malone was cheaper than the other options and is a fine product but even with that it seems kinda pricey for two straps and two hooks. The other options were even pricier for essentially the same thing

Great storage solution

We bought these to store my kayak and my wife's standup paddleboard in our garage and I can say that they work great. When we first installed them, we put them too far apart and the straps just wanted to slide out to the ends of both the kayak and the board so that we needed to use a rope to keep them from sliding too far out. After taking them down the first time to go out floating, we moved the straps closer together (to the next closest studs) and now they work great and we don't need the extra rope. After looking at several different options to store our boats in our garage, this works as we planned it would and are very happy with our purchase. Of course Amazon provided the great service and fast delivery we expect as well!

Cheap and Elegant Solution for kayak storage.

I bought this sling system to store our two 14ft sea kayaks. Installation on our garage wall was quick and easy. It took about 15 minutes to locate two wall studs (about 6ft apart), predrill pilot holes and install the two eye bolts. After that, I simply clipped on the straps, put the kayaks in the strap loops and adjusted the loop straps - done! A simple but elegant solution to storing our kayaks out of the way. The system is rated for 130lbs total weight, so it can easily handle both our kayaks at just over 50lbs apiece. Truth be told, I'm sure this system could easily handle twice this load. I tested the eye bolts by hanging my whole weight (170+ lbs) off of each one and they were quite secure. The straps and carabiner clips could easily handle a couple of hundred pounds each. I set one kayak at shoulder height, where I could just reach the upper carabiner clip and the other just below it. The bottom kayak still clears the floor by a couple of feet. It is possible to load and unload the kayaks with just one person. This is a bit awkward but can be done by lifting one end of the kayak and clipping it into the loop, then sliding it forward while raising the other end then clipping it in position. Not easy on the top kayak, but doable. With two people, it's a cinch. I was originally going to hang them from the ceiling of our garage, but the pulley system hung too low for the kayaks to clear the garage door. This was less expensive, easier to install and simple to use. As an added advantage, because the kayaks are stored on the wall you never have to walk (or park your car) underneath them - something the manufacturers of the roof pulley system warn you not to do.

Extremely simple to use and install. Versatile

I used it to store my two Pelican 10' Kayaks. Each weights 17 and 19 Kg. Inititally I thought the screws were very small for that weight but surprisingly they resist very well. I am even storing with the kayaks, the paddles and inside the kayaks the PFD. One single versatile and extremely simple solution. And saving a lot of room in my garage. And reasonable price.

Hard to use

I have 2 x 18' sea kayaks and tried to mount them one above the other on my fence this using this. Found it easier to cut the product into two and mount them one beside the other. Required a visit to a shoemaker to stitch clips into the pieces I cut off. 2nd time around I would have purchased their single unit mounting straps.

Great way to store kayaks

After reading the reviews I was very skeptical about buying this product but decided to take a chance. And I'm so glad I did, it exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. My kayaks are securely hanging off the wall. The product came fully assembled except for the hardware.

Strong, exactly as described.

I ordered this because I ordered a cheaper version of this product made by a different company. The straps on the other product were thin and snapped instantly dropping my kayak and almost taking me down with it. These ones are much stronger and high quality straps. Recommend these ones, don't cheap out.
