Awesomeness ! but needs re-engineering for larger propane tanks & the filter is not great !
I love this coffee pot - yes, it's a bit slow but as other said - savor the time it's brewing at your campsite watching the sun rise, etc. and then enjoy some amazing HOT coffee ! The coffee is easily as good as anything I've had at home and we have a Techovorm. This is a perfect accessory for car camping or overland vans / RVs. Unfortunately , there are a few issues. The coffee basket itself is its weak point. Finding a filter that actually works is a hassle. Choose the wrong one and you end up with an overflowed mess and coffee everywhere. Why they don't furnish a re-usable filter is beyond me. Unfortunately nothing seems to work on that front so we're stuck with paper filters that are a PAIN. Also - Coleman INSISTS on using its wonky, proprietary connections and hard lines for 1# canisters. Most of us roadies use larger propane tanks and flex hoses - so the connectors the coffee pot comes with are totally useless. Yes, there are adaptors you can use to connect the propane tanks to the 1# fitting on the regulator but you are still stuck with the funny angled hard line which really gets in the way. What Coleman really needs to do is offer a quick disconnect type fitting instead but they will probably never do that so I was able to come up with a nice elegant solution. 1> Order this : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KG9BWDM 2> Using a long schrader core removal tool and a pair of needle nose pliers - remove the useless valve in the center of the 1# adaptor - if you do not do this step it will not work 3> CUT the coleman metal hard line that runs between the regulator and fitting approximately 1 inch from the regulator, and 1 inch from the fitting that connects to the coffee pot. Use a tubing cutting tool to keep it clean. 4> Connect a rubber gas line hose - purchased from the auto parts store - that is roughly 6mm in diameter to each of the ends you have left - one at the regulator - one at the fuel adaptor going into the quick pot the hose MUST be tight, but does not need clamps (gas pressure is very low). 5> Finally, connect the adapter you bought in #1 above to the 1# gas can fitting , tighten it very tight , you will not need to remove it again. You are done, and now you have a very nice, flexible , easy to use solution for large propane tanks without the dumb hard line to get in your way. The regulator is at the tank, and very easy to see / vary the gas flow. We have used this now for a month and it works very well. Hope this helps you DIY types out there who get tired of the all the types of propane fittings like i do !

Makes Coffee
Takes a while to get done but it does what it says. It's not that much slower than a regular coffee maker, no odd tastes . For my off grid camp I can have coffee every morning without starting my generator

put something under the back to raise it
ive had this since 2016, beats driving 12 miles to the nearest macdonalds it works much quicker if you raise the back of the pot slightly so if you look at it the back is higher than the front gravity is a wonderful thing i think i paid 109.00 back then worth every penny

Your coffee will be brewing BEFORE you get the fire started
This is absolutely the best thing ever if you want coffee while camping.

Great Coffee!
If you don't like reading directions, there is a YouTube video that shows how to use the machine. The best feature is the red Ignite button on the back, automatically lights the burner with zero matches used. It took about 4 minutes to brew 2 full cups of coffee and it taste better than my normal electric coffee pot. Put the metal adjuster in the back of the machine, it has the On/Off and Low, Med, High settings dial, then attach the propane tank, make sure it's tight. Move the dial to High, press down the red Ignite button on the back, wait, a full pot of coffee is approximately 10 minutes. Make SURE the plastic clip below the coffee grounds basket is attached so that the coffee brewing drips into the carafe AND that the coffee glass carafe is down into the burner area, handle turned to the Left, close to the word "Hot" so the coffee will drip out of the basket into the carafe. You're all set.

Makes a great coffee.....eventually. Watch out for a plastic taste though
I use this coffee maker to serve my freshly roasted coffees at a small farmers' market. It is SLOW to brew but produces a good cup of coffee. I find it takes as long as 20 minutes to brew a pot depending on the amount of wind there is.....the windier the weather, the longer it takes. It makes a good cup of coffee (if you put good bean in it to begin with) and does best with a medium grind. A fine ground coffee gets bitter. I had terrible problems with the first 10 pots of coffee put through it tasting like plastic. I followed Coleman's instructions for descaling it and it didn't help much. Coleman offered to replace the unit but i really needed it to be able to brew fresh coffee in a location without electricity the weekend that I got it. I managed to get rid of the taste by filling the reservoir up with full strength vinegar, lighting the unit until just a little vinegar ran through. I turned it off and left it overnight before running that pot and another pot of vinegar through it. After a thorough rinse with 2 pots of fresh water (did I mention I went through 2 tanks of propane trying to get the taste out?) the coffee came out very well. I have made 200+ cups of coffee and I am happy with my purchase. I will buy another if the demand for hot coffee out-strips it's capable with of seven 8oz cups every 20 minutes. I haven't owned it long enough to say how it stands up to repeated, heavy use. The bottom line......It is a great little coffee maker for remote locations but slower than Molasses in January.

This coffee maker, definitely does NOT brew ten cups of coffee...Only seven
Very disappointed with this coffee pot! The carafe holds ten cups of water, however, the reservoir only holds seven of those ten cups of water. Also, it definitely does NOT brew those seven cups of coffee very quickly. This item is way over priced....no bang for your buck here....save your money and purchase a different camp coffee be pot!

What a happy coffee drinker/camper needs!
This is perfect for those that need that fresh cup of coffee in the morning, while camping. Very easy to use, and the coffee is nice and hot. It's nice to have a complete coffee maker, and now I don't have to use one of the burners to keep my coffee hot. Just set it up, the night before, and when you get up turn it on and a way you go. Very happy with this.

smaller than I wanted
I love that I don't have to use my stove for coffee with this but I thought I was purchasing a full size coffee machine
