Great for a 2-inch pad. High quality. Good features.
I used to backpack and snow-camp. I love this pad. It insulates from cold ground (I don't mean snow or ice) and has good features. It's not plushy-cushy, but it insulates well and is easier to roll-up and rolls up smaller than a more-cushy pad. As a test, I slept all night on the pad with only a sheet to cover me - on a cold tile floor. I felt some pressure on my shoulder and hip, but I did not feel cold or chilled. That's a good sign because I am cold unless it's 80 F. My husband has a pad w/this type of valve. It's now 12 years old and is like new. Two valves mean faster inflation and deflation, and if one ever jams, the pad is not worthless bc the other valve is sufficient. The fabric feels sturdy, but not "plastic." It is quiet and is likely very durable. The straps are fabulous! They are generously long, so you can stow the rolled pad with some air; and the velcro-hook/loop fastening section is long and high quality (it really grabs). Most pads come with cheap straps. The stow bag even has a strap on the bottom - very handy! Every feature and the written material from the manufacturer suggests that the company wants to produce high-end sleeping pads. ==== It fills with air while you enjoy a coffee or beer. You can add air manually, but that can make any pad harder, not softer. Tip: Open-cell foam pads (& sleeping bags) should always be opened to fluff-up as soon as possible (before cooking, drinking, or exploring). Also, store them between uses with some air inside so the foam will be cushier sooner when you unroll the pad. We compress/roll a pad or sleeping bag tight only when space in the car is needed.

It’s ok but I wouldn’t buy again.
Two valves are not what I would consider “easy to inflate”. They take quite a bit of air to fully inflate so you have to blow them up yourself. If you forget one valve is open, it’s useless bc the air pushes right back out. Neither of the valves are one way intake/outtake so why there is two, I don’t know. When fully inflated, they still don’t add much comfort. Better than a cold hard ground, yes. But I’ve used nicer self inflating sleep mats that had thicker foam, one way valve with lever release, and folded to a fourth of a size that were much more comfortable and convenient. I’m 5’2” and 95 pounds. I’m very toned and I like to sleep on my side. I could not at all on this mat. The first night I turned on my side by habit and I woke a couple hours later to horrible back pain due to there not being enough foam inside and air distribution to keep you off the ground fully. They do take up a lot of space when rolled up nicely in the bags. I wasn’t concerned so much with space as I was comfort being I am incredibly physical and need a good nights sleep before hours or hiking. The upside is that they were in fact warm but that’s what I have a sleeping bag for. The downfall, there isn’t much comfort going on. My 12 year old preferred a cot over this “self inflating” mat. One of the yard camping nights we used them, he choose to sleep on the floor over using this mat. Overall, I wouldn’t buy again unless it’s thicker and actually self inflates. It would probably be ok for a small child but again, I’m not very big and, I Love tent camping, but I’ll be looking into something better for sure. Just wish I hadn’t wasted the money on two of these already.

So far, so great.
I am currently (and have been) sleeping on an air pad every night. I had previously used one that was about $15 cheaper than this pad and while it was comfortable, they consistently developed leaks after two months or so. So this time I decided it was worth it to pay a little more as I have read a lot of reviews and haven't heard anyone complain of leaks on the pad. I have the middle size - 2" thick. First of all, the pad just looks more well constructed out of the box than the old one. Also I quickly realized that while the dimensions listed are exactly the same as the old pad, this one is considerably larger. I really like it because my feet don't hang off the end and I don't feel like I'm about to fall of the side like with the more narrow pad. When lying and moving around on the pad, it simply feels more solid and more well constructed than the one I used previously. Comfort-wise it is about the same. I plan to check back on this review in two or three months to give a report and how it holds up, i.e., leaking or not. Based on what I've experienced so far, I don't expect this pad to leak like the others ones I've purchased. So it's been about 8 weeks since I purchased this pad and I'm still super pleased with it. With sleeping nightly on other pads, I was usually having to add air at least once in the night at this point, or even more. With this pad, I don't remember ever adding any air since I initially filled it. It is very well constructed. I'm thrilled with this pad!

Most comfortable sleep I have had camping
Just finished a motorcycle trip in Australia and this roll made everything so easy. Yes, it's a little too bulky for backpacking, but it fits nicely in my 90l black hole duffle from Patagonia. The good: -Extremely easy to roll up and put back in its bag -very comfortable, I never bottom out (as you might in an air mattress) when sitting up. The volume really expands to fill it up completely, some nights I would actually have to let some air out so it would be a little softer. -no more having to clear camp sites of small twigs and pebbles, I camped on straight up gravel at an RV park, didn't feel a thing! The bad: -too big for backpacking -a little narrow, great for sleeping, but sitting up and reading books/my phone, my elbows were falling off the edges. -stains easily, looks a little gross after my trip, should have used a pillow case or cover for where my head goes I bought the plush version for my sister, and it's amazing, and a little wider. I will buy one for myself car camping and keep this one for when I need a little more space in my bag.

Great Camp Pad
Inflates quickly, works exactly as described. Make sure not to overfill too much because it becomes incredibly firm and even hurt my back a bit. Easy fix though, just released some air from the valves and presto! All good. Used with a cot setup, somewhat slippery though with the blankets we brought but no biggie. But compared to the airmattress we used to use, everything was so amazingly quick that I can't believe we hadn't gone this route earlier. Quick to deflate as well and put away. Came with a nice bag to store in, hardly takes up any room at all.

Doesnt Inflate as advertised!!!
I initially ordered one and it didnt inflate properly right below the pillow area, and the last 6-10inches of the pad stayed flat. I ordered a replacement and funny enough, it only inflated the 1/3 of the pad (at the bottom) while the remaining pad stayed very flat, so it was worse than the first one. I have left both of these air pads opened for way more than "overnight" as prescribed in the manual, but havent had any luck. So returning them both.

Bulky
It's tall and bulky, takes a long time to inflate, and doesn't provide much support. I'd recommend inflatable pads instead.

Really comfortable.
Fantastic mattress. I bit big for a long hiking trip, but if you want comfort and warmth- this is it.

Soooo comfy but heavy and bulky
This is a fantastic mattress, it's very comfy and stays that way all night. My complaint would be that it Isn't light and compact. When backpack camping I found it too bulky and heavy, the weight it states is not correct.
