WOW! Feels 10x easier to brake compared to what came on the bike

This is very close to disc brake level. Amazing. I'm using this on an old cheapo 80's Specialized Hybrid. Cheap rusty looking bike I can lock up in SF and not worry about theft. I also have hydro / mech disc brakes on other bikes for comparison and this has really transformed the brake. While I changed the pads, I removed the calipers, cleaned the posts and calipers, put fresh grease, set the spring on lowest settings, trued the wheel. My lever takes literally a hair to actuate the brakes. If you pull a couple of more mm you will flip the bike.

Worth the money.

I've never replace anything on a bike before This was an easy install. Most important thing to know is, make sure the arron that's printed into the pad is facing the direction your tire is going. I put my on backwards and it squeaked like a mother. Didnt realize it for a few days and it's quite embarrassing when you slap the brakes and heat your tires scream for blocks.

The compound seems to work well on wet wheel

I didn't give this as high of rating as I might because of the shifted design causes the trailing end of the pad to lift off the wheel during breaking. Other than that, the brakes do stop the bike adequately, and generally I'll give them a full run on my motorized bike. They look good. Add a little color.

Brake pads

I'm impressed with the quality and performance of this product. The pads are narrow enough to make contact with the rim surface without rubbing the wheel. Works well in rain or dust. Highly recommended product! Make sure to read the instructions for install directional compliance/ toe in issues or you may have squeal sounds when pads make contact with the rim surface.
