Awesome!

Actually bought this for a gift but looked it over myself. It can be switched around different ways, using one, some, or all of the pieces. I guess you could fix just about anything with this setup. Well, it is called Cook-It-All.

Versatile and Heavy

This is heavy so if you are going to be in one spot for awhile, the possibilities are endless with this. It’s size makes it a nice surface to cook on. Plenty of room. Baking in this was also important to me. I used an antique Chambers thermobaker to bring food up off the surface so it didn’t scorch when baking. One thing that would be helpful is to have a way to secure the lid to the pot and have a carry bag for it since it will have soot on it. Having a wok was the deciding factor. This is my camp kitchen. Worth the investment.

Skillet is amazing

I bought this for my camping trip to cook over a fire. We were able to cook all types of food because of the griddle, flat iron, and skillet. Worth the price! I would recommend buying the gloves for lifting the the hot skillet from the fire. I will say the only downside is how heavy it is, but to be expected for cast iron.

Made a wonderful gift to an outdoorsman!

This pan made breakfast scrambles and multiple cobblers during an extended camping trip. Because so many other reviewers complained about the quality of the stand, I bought the Coot It All kit without a stand and we placed it directly on the fire at the campsite. This is a cumbersome, heavy piece but it is durable and I can see it lasting for many years so long as we treat it right. We may look into getting a stand from a different brand, one that won't warp when placed in the fire. Or perhaps we will make our own. If you're looking for something to bake, fry, grill, saute or boil Lodge Cook-it-All lives up to its name, you won't regret it.

Definitely cook all in this!

This cook all pan is huge! And if you can only buy one piece of cast iron, this is it, besides maybe a flat bottom skillet. Note: this thing is HEAVY! I can barely lift the box! But I cannot think of anything you could not cook in this. Very versatile. Do know that cooking on a range (electric or gas) will probably not work too well with this pan. It has a ring on the bottom to hold coals, and would most likely damage a traditional range. But a grill of fire pit would be great! Don't plan on throwing this thing in a bug put bag or a back pack though, unless you want a broken back! Let me say again...it is heavy!!

Mega Workhorse!!!

This thig is amazing! I haven’t had a chance to take it car camping yet, but I’ve been using it around the house, and I love it! Cooking in the wok shape takes a little getting used to, but once you do it’s pretty spectacular. Like with all new cast iron, you need to do some of your own seasoning. (I know it says it’s “pre seasoned,” but until you’ve cooked some really greasy things on it a bunch of times, you’re still going to get quite a bit of sticking.) I addition to the metal handles that are included, I’d suggest picking up a couple cheap silicone skillet handles as well. They fit perfectly over the cast iron handles for both pieces, and they’re way more convenient to slip on and off and maneuver that the weird metal “hangy” ones.

Long lasting. Many ways to cook. Wish you could suspend it but no big deal.

Love that it worked as a wok as well. Lot of surface area. Took it for a scout troop camping and it could feed a troop of 10 scouts. Very happy with it. Don't forget the handles when camping! I did. Wish they could be semi-permanently attached. It is very heavy (about 30 lbs). Love cooking on it; specially stews and desserts.

Investment in cast iron cookware

I thought I paid too much for this, at $250 in Canada. Probably did, but dam! This this thing cooks! Have done 10 different dishes from Pizza to deep fried potatoes, and they all turned out perfectly. Big investment, but I can see this lasting a lifetime.

A fan of Lodge products...

But this is not a well thoughtout product. Heavy - certainly, well-made - it is a Lodge so yes. But what is is for? The small booklet suggests some ideas, but nothing that cannot be done a million other ways. I bought it from Amazon at an all-time low price so no grumbling, but had I paid full price, I would have been less than happy.
