Bought to replace heavier cooking gear in my camper.
Good price, was on sale at the Stanley store. The YouTube reviews sold my wife & I on these.

BEST COOK SET EVER
Absolutely fantastic. Real cookwear better than your average home set. If weight is not a big concern this is the set for you. Can be used directly on campfire. This is lifetime gear.

Stock pot bottom too thin.
This set is heavy-duty but not too weighty for what's included, stands up to the dishwasher, and has just about everything you need to cook a simple (or even not-so-simple) meal for 4 people, as long as whatever you're cooking in the stock pot isn't a stew or pasta dish. Or rice. Or a casserole of some kind. Or... anyway, let's just say if you have anything stickier than water in the stock pot, it's going to scorch on a camp stove. Constantly having to scrape and polish burned (wasted) food out of the bottom of the pot brought my rating down from 5 to 3. The frying pan is the same 3-layer one from the two-person set, and Stanley makes a comparable layered stock pot that is in the "even-heat" set. Would it have killed them to include it here? If they had, it would be the best set I've seen on the market. As it is... meh.

A MOST AWESOME COOKSET FOR ANY USE
bought this for our family of 4 emergency grab and go packs and is perfect for it - and it is so awesome it has become my go to daily cookware - the pot is a fairly heavy stainless steel and should last a lifetime of use, super quality as is most stanley products - the skillet is incredible, very heavy bottom for even heating but not so heavy as to be easily packable in our emergency gear - bowls and plates are good quality plastic and heavy enough to last a long time with care - the plates fit perfectly on bowls to act as a cover for leftovers - some say paltes are too small but they are perfectly sized to fit in the pot, they work quite well - sporks are best design i have ever used, if you like sporks any way - the drying rack also acts as a good insulator to keep hot pots off of tabletop - the big spoon and spatula fit together very securely but i am guessing over time they will loosen up but probably not enough to come apart in use - love the addition of a little cutting board and for camping picnincing use its serves very well overall this is a perfect set sized for a family of four, very compact and light for its use (not a backpacking weight) - i highly recommend it not just for camping but everyday use (an inexpensive complete set of cookware for 4) and store all in the pot for space saving

AWESOME set for family camping and our boy/girl scout trips
To start I had all the needed camping gear to keep a family off the grid for a couple nuclear half lives. The problem is it looked like it has survived at least one of those half-lives already and my wife is more of a clamping person so to get her out of the hotel was going to take some doing. My family is slowly becoming outdoor enthusiasts. As a kid, my family went camping, snow/water skiing probably 3 of 4 weekends all year long. The beauty of living in SoCal. Since then I have had kids and all that slowed quite a bit. I still go on my target shooting and camping trips. Well, my twin 9-year-olds (1 boy 1 girl) and both are in scouts now that has got them off the iPad and outdoors FINALLY!!! We also do other after-school activities. That being said it makes for endless Amazon shopping and trips to local stores as well. The boy and girl scout packs they are in are VERY busy with outdoor activities with my son meeting up 2-3x a month and my daughter's girl scouts 1-2x a month. So out with the old and in with the new. The Good: 1. NOT lightweight. Why is this good? BEcause it will last. The pot and pan are plenty heavy duty while the rest of the stuff is modern plastic so it makes a nice balance for the set. 2. This is a CAMPING set, not backpacking set. I have stuff for backpacking, I wanted a family camping set and this is perfect 3. Everything is large enough to be user-friendly and small enough to be camping friendly 4. You can add the companion set of 24oz Stanley cups and have a REALLY nice set (shown in one of my photos) 5. Everything heated nicely and even on our Coleman stove 6. Everything cleaned up easy which is a must when camping 7. I got this as an Amazon warehouse deal and the price could not be beat The Bad: Nothing bad to note just yet but I am going to have to buy one more place setting for my 3-year-old but for now its fine. I'm hoping the extra stuff will still fit in the pot. Other Notes: Stanley has been around forever and they stand behind their products. I don't see why they would be different now. I saw a few negative comments but I always try to read those because often people are to bias or expecting perfection for a discount store price. I will try to answer any questions you have so please feel free to ask.

Saucers for plates disappointing
Just received two new adventure kits. I needed five settings for the family. Being in Australia there are no retailers here so we only have online access to Stanley Adventure products. So after paying $275 au for two kits, tax & postage. It arrived today. The main reason for buying this kit was that it all nested and I need a good heavy pot and pan. I did not read any reviews prior ordering my biggest mistake. I brought purely on the previous experience with Stanley products. Coffee plunger, small pot with nested cups both five star and go everywhere. My three star rating is not a reflection of the quality of kit, only the disappointing overall size of the plates and smallish pan. Please Stanley start retailing adventure product in Australia. We just got Yeti in the last couple of months and was told by a retailer they can't keep up with the demand. There is a market for quality items as most of us are sick of paying for Chinese shit that requires replacement every two years. Tim

It’s a Stanley!!
Stanley has done it again! Just when I thought that I had everything I needed for streamlined camping trips, Stanley goes one better! After testing this on a week long trip in Northern Quebec with my son, I can report that this cook set is worth the money and a great addition to my gear. Utensils, plates, bowls, cookware, all in a convenient little kit! Good quality, hard to scratch. Easy to clean and pack up. Another winner from Stanley!

Fantastic set
Absolutely love this set. When going camping it really simplifies the packing of plates, utensils, etc. There's pros and cons, of course. While i like the plates and bowls, the cutlery is terrible. I've changed the sporks out for titanium cutlery sets, and they fit just fine. It can also be irritating to open up for only one plate, but that is the nature of the beast. Other minus is that if you don't pack it all up nice and proper, it makes a terrible racket in your ruck. Figured that out when i packed some some dirty dishes separately for later cleaning.
