Bigger than you think
I returned the one I bought on Amazon because of space limitations. I have one on another boat and it’s a good charger just be warned it’s big. You can get newer designs that are half the size.

Has mounting holes for permanent install, but has a wall plug and says not to cut the 12V wires…
I bought this to replace a 10 year old smaller version of this same charger. It appears to be more modern and better sealed. The only downside is this version no longer has screw posts on the charger like the old one - it just has wires coming out of the housing, with a 120V house plug for the A/C connection (why would anyone not direct wire it?), and the 12V wires have large ring terminals with a tag that says not to cut the wires (for some reason unknown to me). So if you are doing a permanent installation, you’ll either have to cut the wires anyway and hope that doesn’t mess up the timing of the computer charging algorithm or something, or fish the wires all through your boat every time if you ever have to remove or reinstall it. Or buy separate terminal blocks and modify the giant ring terminals to fit on them, and just have like 6 feet of extra 12V wires hanging around. Either way you’ll have to cut off the 120V house plug to connect it permanently to any shore power connection on the boat (or install a 120V outlet in a locker somewhere and hope it doesn’t ever get wet or come unplugged) Bring back the screw posts and let me do my own wiring. The wall plug and ring terminal cables could have been detachable, but I doubt anyone will use them anyway - who is mounting a charger this big on a boat small enough that you’re hooking it up with an extension cord (no shore power cord) and where the battery wires aren’t routed through bulkheads etc.?

A GOOD DEAL
THE CHARGER WORK GREAT. Charges my two golf cart batteries (6V in series) and one 12V starting battery as advertised. Excellent value. Did however have to get creative to find a nice flat spot big enough to mount it, but got it done. My only complaint is the dumb question about longevity, check back with me in a few years not a few days, come on!

Charger working as designed
Charger worked well. Wish there was a way to make cords longer or shorter. So far it is working as designed.

The battery leads can't be altered at all
I had issues installing due to the fact you void all warranty if you so much as change the ring terminal going to the batteries. I called the company tech support and they said no altering of any kind is allowed. If the battery changer is that sensitive it would be nice to know. Install took hours longer trying to make all the wires reach. I will likely stick with intellipower or kussmaul where I have more options for battery connection length.

Saves you money
As expected Guest battery chargers are simply a dependable product that also extends/-really extends battery life. Had one in my sailboat that kept 2 marine batteries going for over seven years!

Great product
The best power supply I've had in my boat. Charging the trolling batteries the best.
