Superb.

I've been using these for over a year now for on average three classes a week. During pad work I go pretty hard with these gloves. These still look like new. The velcro is still going strong, the padding still feels solid, no damage to the surface - these are so much better than the Hayabusa I was gifted before (cost more, lasted 2-3 months and hurt to wear). I do wear wraps inside these gloves to protect against odor and to fill the hand box, which is quite large. I keep charcoal odor absorbers inside them and hang them after every class open for air to circulate. I love these and will definitely try to order again when they wear out...hopefully a long time from now.

The gloves are pretty good. They sit comfortably on the hand. One minus got gloves with cuts in the shock part. And this is not the first time.

Real leather with the approved stamp!

The most comfortable gloves I've had! Want to sound like you can hit harder than you can? This is the glove you're looking for! The padding in the palm area is enough for protection, and not too much to make a fist. Very ventilating design! I don't have a super big hand and it fits comfortably!

Great knuckle and Palm padding

The knuckle padding and wrist support on this 12oz (actual weight 11.4oz) is excellent. Actually more comfortable on knuckle and wrist with the 120lb banana bag than my 10 oz winning lace ups and 12 oz Top Kings. I'm sure 80-100lb would be a dream. 14 oz would be preferred for the 120 lb banana bag but I actually bought these strictly for drills in Muay Thai due to the abundant amount of padding on the palm and wrist areas to block kicks and to use a mitts. They are also pretty soft for your partner even though they are only 12oz gloves. Drills are not like sparring we are only catching punches and kicks with our gloves so no need for anything heavier. The only slightly uncomfortable thing is that the wrist area is tight making it slightly hard to get your hand in with wraps , kinda like using lace ups and the extra padding on the palm makes it feel like your wraps are bunched up in that area. But its the trade of I'm willing to put up with due to the excellent support and cushioning.

Only lasted me about 4 months of use

I bought these right before Covid hit and only got to use them a couple times before all the gyms closed. My boxing gym opened roughly sometime around June. I used them pretty regularly... but sometimes took extended breaks like when I was sick with covid. But about 6 weeks or so ago, maybe longer, the padding inside started breaking down and leaking out from the inside of the glove. I've been screwing up my hand until I put my hand in and poked straight through to the thin outer layer of leather.. realizing there was absolutely no padding left on my knuckles. I bought these expecting them to at least last me a year.. if not longer. I really can't afford new gloves right now since business still isn't the same due to covid. So I can't even train now... when I thought I had invested in a decent pair of gloves that would last me awhile. I knew they weren't the best, but I thought they'd be at least mid-grade. Long story short: the padding they use is very low quality. The leather is still holding up but it's only really seen about 4~ months of use. Also, the left glove never really fit right on my hand.. like the thumb part was stitched way too low. I kept hoping it would break in... but now I have to throw them out and it still never felt right. The right glove felt fine, but the left never did. Not a lot of care went into making them. All my gear is Venum.. my previous gloves before this were Venum, my shoes, my headgear, my wraps, my mouthpiece. But... I think they just lost me. This was really disappointing.

Excellent Boxing Gloves

Figured that I owed the company at least a 5 star review given the outstanding quality and value for the money that they provide. I like the durability (there is no sign of wear after several weeks of usage) and the wrist support. I haven't experienced any wrist pain when using these (I wrap the wrist strap high, not perfectly in line with the velcro to get more wrist support). The fit is nice and snug (not too tight) right out of the box.

Great for sparring.

Likes: Genuine leather, great quality, price for quality, cushion for punchers, keeps sparring partner safe. Dislikes: Smelled a little funny coming out of the bag but that went away quick. Definitely a great glove and good bang for your buck.

Awesome gloves, well worth the $100 price tag.

I did a little research before I decided to purchase these glove. Consider RDX ($37+ to $179+) and Cleto Reyes ($140+ to 300+). I settle on this particular glove becuase of the napa leather and the air vents. Also, most of the reviews rated them well on comfort and durability. I could not be happier with the Venum brand. I am a 62 year old male and try to incorporate the heavy bag in my routine for cardio vascular health and other artirial health issues, when my shoulder permits. The glove are will made very comfortable with mitts. 12 oz are nice and light, partcularly for a person like me.

Great quality but very large

These gloves are great but even for me at 6'2", the 16oz are far too roomy. I use additional hand wraps and still have enough space for my hands to slide around inside. If you have very large hands, then these will be just the thing for you. If not, maybe look for a different model/brand or go a size smaller than a guide would suggest.

Fantastic gloves for boxing!

Fantastic gloves. They are super comfy and cushion remarkably the impact of your punches. They seemed heavy at first (16 oz) for a girl of 5.7 feet, but I got used to them very fast, and now I think they are light and well built. They look gorgeous and smell good of leather and let breathe your fists. I use them 3/4 days a week on heavy bags and mitts and they last well. They are terrific. Go for it!

Love them!!

Great fit and shape for me. I'm 5'11 and about 90kgs and the 16's fit great. Can be a little tight with gel wraps but that's probably true of most gloves. One of my issues was wrist support and I was worried there wasn't some fancy multi wrap close on these but this goes to show quality wins as they're spot on. No support issues at all. Pair them with good stretch wraps. They're really sturdy and hope they'll last me a long time. The graphic on the glove in red/black is more understated than they look in the pics.

1 month in so far perfect.

By far the best gloves I’ve ever worn. Ive been training boxing/MMA for roughly 3 years and went through a couple different gloves. Mostly Hayabusa. These are 10oz but the padding gives you the protection like a 14oz would. I have large hands, and I use 180” wraps. First 2 times it were tight but now they are perfect! I love the design, the black and gold is terrific. Seeing “made in Thailand” is such an awesome touch. Very well designed glove and I hope they last a while.
