So far, these are holding up and keeping the gloves drier than they were before. That helps with the "gym smell", but this is no perfect solution. I'm not sure there /is/ a perfect solution. I've been boxing on and off for a while and gloves simply end up smelling bad. I use hand wraps, disinfectant after using them, and now these after spraying the disinfectant ... they smell /less/ bad (I think) and certainly I'm happier that these keep the gloves from staying damp, so they're doing what I want and holding up to use. Just don't expect them to solve the entire problem.

I utilize my 16oz. Century gloves at least twice a week. I'm not certain these are doing an effective job. The first 3 weeks I had these my schedule saw me utilizing my gloves once a week. At once a week, I thought these were fantastic. Now that I'm back to 2 times a week I don't get the sense that the effect is the same. It could be the effectiveness is short lived or simply that more than light usage renders their purpose null and void. I don't know. I simply know I am looking for something more. I am considering purchasing a second set and utilizing them both at the same time. The size is such that I don't think this will be a problem.

Knocks out moisture and odor.

Actually I would prefer the scent stronger. They work well, always in my gloves, go to 9Round at least 3 days per week.

Great as a strap to hold'em together

Glove dogs with a strap between them. Good idea. Don't expect them to de-oderize your gloves though. Just can't cut that glove sweat smell. But here's a great trick. Put a dryer sheet (yes that's right, a dryer softener sheet) in each glove and then stuff the dogs in. Works great! Unless you don't like the smell of dryer sheets. You can use the sheets over and over so don't throw them out right away. With dryer sheets, the glove dogs work great. Thanks for the tip, E.J.

I have been using these for my gloves for over a month now (not a heavy user- I take them in and our of the gloves about 3 times a week and hang the gloves with the dogs in between uses) and I love them. They keep the gloves fresh, and I haven't seen any sort of tearing. That being said, I also UNLACE my gloves before and after using the dogs, and don't just RIP them out. High recommend!

Fits in my gloves and keeps them dry. Just what I needed. I will say that is was smaller than I expected. That is not a problem for me, but if you are looking for one that covers the entire inside of your glove, this is not it. No smelly gloves for me!

Been using these for years

Been using these for years and my gloves have yet to smell funky. Keeps my entire gym bag from getting nasty as well. Do yourself a favor and grab these if you are serious about training. Spend the couple extra bucks to maintain your gear properly and it will treat you properly.
