Great little low voltage switch that gets the job done and a name I trust, Gardner Bender. Good for replacing old switches that have lost their capacity to make good contact on the circuit they are in, mainly 12V lighting. Highly recommended!

Used to replace the bedside push on/off light switches of my 1998 Winnebago Chieftain.

Used to replace the bedside push on/off light switches of my 1998 Winnebago Chieftain. The stem is about 50% longer than the original, and is silver instead of goldish, but these differences disappeared after a few minutes. Removing and replacing the lamps took as much time as the switch changeover. Would definitely buy again.

Finally found the switch that would work.

The light switch on my vintage (1968) Broan kitchen hood gave out and it's no longer made by the manufacturer. I looked high and low and ordered three different switches of this type from Amazon. This is the one that fit. I finally have my light back. At this price, I immediately ordered another one for "just in case."

Perfect replacement

Got this to replace a malfunctioning lamp switch in my almost vintage motorhome. Took me one minute to swap the part and voilà! Good as new. The nickel stem is a little too long for the lamp design, but it's not a big deal. I might trim it a bit if it bothers me too much.

Perfect replacement but gets stuck

Got these to replace a cheap plastic switch in a halogen work light. Size is perfect. Problem is that once I installed it, the button stuck in when testing. I did manage to get it unstuck. So I guess you need to be gentle with it. Regardless, if you need to replace one of these, this is the only option. Just don’t hammer them when you are turning them on and off.
