So Versatil

WOW and WOW, I had been looking for a versatile camping stove like this for so long. It is compact, easy to use, easy to transport and easy to store... It is the perfect stove for a small group of friends or a small family that wants to have a good time either camping or sharing time at the beach or at a picnic. I feel so satisfied with my purchase!

Terrific All-In-One Stove

This thing is probably one of my favorite pieces of camping equipment I own; it's really that great of a grill. To start with, the body of the grill is well designed. The heat traps well inside the chamber, and the legs are long enough that nothing underneath the grill will be heated, so I've been able to use it on tables without a heat shield. The lower stove catches grease from the top with ease, and cleaning it is a breeze - sponges or paper towels will wipe it up fine. The lower stove can also be filled with some water to steam things in the stove, which I haven't personally tried but seems helpful. The grill surface and the flat-top surface have worked great. I've grilled a variety of meat on the grill surface and they've all come out great - the cover does a good job of trapping heat. On the flat-top surface, it's done well for making grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes. It's a non-stick surface, so cleanup is also quite easy here. The lid itself also works well as a sort of wok or large pan to fry/roast things in. I've cooked various veggies in it and they've all come out nicely too. Lastly, you can use just the metal stand for other pots or pans; it's been useful for heating a kettle for me personally. As a final note, cleaning this thing once you've brought it home for a more thorough wash is great too. All of the pieces neatly come apart and can be cleaned individually before piecing them back together. For portability, all of the parts will neatly fit inside of the stove itself (including the handles, if you really needed the extra space). Overall, I can strongly recommend this grill. It'll save you a lot of effort needing to bring pots and pans in addition to your stove, and it also just works well. Coleman gets the thumbs up from me on this one.

Good general stove

The wok/lid is useful. Even though it needs water in the base, the base removes easily enough while twisting to not spill the water when needing to remove water. Haven't had enough fat on the grill for it to overspill into the water pan. Only have had to clean the plate and not the water bowl.

This is a small but mighty grill!

Wow. No offense, but my husband and I don't usually like Coleman. Like at all. We bought this after having a bulky blackstone that we love but needed something smaller. We were skeptical. We considered it product research for a small grill and what we like or don't like. This thing has impressed me! It cooks really hot, fyi. I made lobster tonight by boiling water in the wok and wrapping my Maine lobster in tinfoil! That's amazing! We have made bacon, burgers, hotdogs, broccoli, pancakes, toast, grilled cheese, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and so much more. So here's the deal. It needs water below the burner. That is the most annoying thing. And you have to get used to how fast it cooks. Burgers in like 6 minutes. It also requires a little set up. The legs and gas attachment has to be taken off. After that it packs down smaller than the blackstone. It cools down fast and clean up is a breeze. It is Teflon, so you just use a mild soap and go about your day. Nonetheless, we were not excited about this. We just got and thought we would just use it for a summer. Now it has really grown on me.

good not great

Its nice, works fairly well and can cook in many different ways but. The flame is not very adjustable, the settings are, on and high thats it, it has no adjustments in-between. The first day I used it and left the water in it, It had already started to rust by morning. So while I do like it it needs a better adjustment knob, and a better anti rust coating.

Extremely handy little grill!!

I bought this to use as another cooking source during camping trips. When you're cooking with small grills and gridles for a decent number of people, having a couple to use helps a lot. It works exactly as advertised. It's compact, easy to clean and pretty versatile with the different cooking surface options. I used a 2# bottle of fuel and cooked almost every meal with it and never had to replace the bottle over a 4 day trip. I do wish it came with some kind of case to carry it in. Not a big deal, I'm using a padded reusable grocery bag with a zipper to store it. This thing would be great for picnics or tail gaiting as long as it's a small group or a larger group if you plan well. Worth every penny.
