Best scissors!!!
I am so impressed with these scissors. I am a professional seamstress and I am picky about my scissors! I love Gingher scissors, but the metal ones are too heavy for my hands. These ones are so lightweight; they are even lighter than Fiskars scissors. Yet, they are incredibly sharp! I was very pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend these scissors, especially if you are frequently cutting and your hands get fatigued.

Shears for those with arthritic issues and more!
These feather weight shears are a "life-saver" to me. I've been sewing since I was 8 years old...using metal dressmaker's shears, having them sharpened as needed until I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my late forties. I could pick up the metal shears, but controlling them was really impossible because of their weight. Distressed that I could no longer sew, I went to my local fabric shop. I tried these feather weight shears when I saw them. They were so light that I could easily pick them up and have control over the scissors! I was exhilarated that once again I could sew! I have been using these shears for years, until I met someone having my same issues with cutting. I purchased them for her. I read someone complaining that they couldn't cut all of the way to the tip of the shears. I learned professional dressmaking at the University. My professor taught us to never cut all of the way to the tip of the shears. She recommended that we cut about 3/4 way up the shears for more control. I still follow her recommendation. I hate to see folks turned away from these shears that really assist those of us with moderate to severe arthritis....

Great little scissors
I’m teaching a sewing camp this summer and quickly learned that the scissors I had did not come close to cutting well. I own a regular pair of Ginghers which I don’t let anyone else use, so I was delighted that these are Gingher quality at a lower price. Great for my students!!! I’ll use them again and again!

Love these!
I love Gingher shears for fabric, so I thought it only fitting I try out the paper cutting version. I love how sharp and lightweight they are. I have used many scissors in the past that feel stiff to open and close, and these move with ease, cut through tons of paper at once, and keep my hands from cramping up. Love em!

Lightweight and sharp.
I don’t do a lot of sewing, so these shears are perfect. They cut beautifully when I needed to hem my pants, and are easy on the hands.
