Better than the one I had

I had one for years that I struggled with & hurt my hand. This works a lot better & cuts well on fabric than my old one. I used it on two layers of fleece & in another project, two layers of felt. It was a little hard to use but got the job done. The grip was better on my hand & fingers.

Pulverized the fabric!

These pinking shears literally pulverized my fabric into powder. I thought my fabric was oxidized but it did the same thing to 2 other fabric swatches too. You have to go really slow with precise determination to keep the fabric from becoming a chewed up mess!

These pinking shears work great and are far more reasonable than fiskars that are outrageously priced. I don't know why people didn't like them or found them to be hard to use unless you have very arthritic or severe problem with your hands. My hands have gotten weak over time but I found these very comfortably, easy to use with no problems and very sharp. I've bought other scissors by Westcott and find them to be a great brand of scissors at a reasonable cost.

Decent

They are quite sharp and work well. The center screw though LOVES to come loose though. Never in my life have I seen this happen. But it’s an easy fix and makes it easier to sharpen later.

Not the best, nor the worst

I'm on the fence about these. They are very tight out of the package They don't have a screw type adjustment; I think they require a key. This causes them to rub against my thumb. Also the cut is not as deep as I'm accustomed to; it is sort of a scalloped/pinking cut. But they appear to be well made & judging by reviews of other brands, there just isn't much under $40.00 to choose from these days.

awesome pinking

Great scissors. They use ball bearings this makes a better cutting motion. I am a big fan of Wescott products. They right up there with the other brands. Might be better. I put oil on the bearings to make them move smoother.

not comfortable or easy to open like the write up says

I was very disappointed with this item. In fact, I returned them within the same hour I received them. The blades seemed "sticky" like they were "catching" against each other. They actually hurt my hand trying to open and close them and that was without even trying to cut anything with them. I also thought they were a little on the heavy side considering the pair I previously had.

Westcott 15983-001 Zackenschere

Habe die Schere nun knapp 1 Jahre und sie macht noch heute das, was sie soll, nämlich Schneiden und das sehr ordentlich. Die Scherenblätter sind sehr scharf und lassen nur einen exakten Schnitt zu. Der Preis ist völlig in Ordnung, und die Schere schneidet sehr gut. Sie entspricht meinen Erwartungen und ich bin voll zufrieden damit. Ein tolles Produkt und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ist sehr schwergängig.

Die Schere macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Leider ist sie nur mit Kraftaufwand zu bedienen. Ich habe kleine Hände und für mich ist sie daher nicht gut geeignet. Ich habe versucht, sie gängiger zu machen. Leider ohne Erfolg. Ansonsten aber eine stabile Schere.

Etwas zu stumpf und unhandlich

Leider ist die Schere nach kurzer Benutzung schon etwas stumpf, ganz feine Stoffe schneiden sich nur noch schlecht damit. Zudem finde ich sie zu unausgewogen in der Hand und die überstehende Schneide nervt mit der Zeit.
