Waiting to see how it performs long term.

You get a clean cut depending on type of paper used. It is a bit difficult to execute the punch. It may possibly get easier with use. Hoping it will remain sharp and make clean precise cuts after long term use.

Good paper puncher!

So far (about a month), this paper puncher has worked splendidly. I’m using it mostly to punch out gift tags for my niece’s school gifts (like for Thanksgiving & Christmas). It punches a 2 inch circle with ease with no jamming. I’ve only used light cardstock paper, nothing with glitter or a heavy texture and it works fine. It seems like other reviewers are using heavier paper than the maximum manufacturer suggested weight of 65 lb paper and not getting the results they wanted. Besides that, it’s easy to see where you punch by flipping it upside down, since it has an opaque confetti catcher. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase

This punch is sturdy and large. I think the cut is perfect so far. It is hard to punch but even the smaller ones are. Fiskars make a good product.

1.73-1.74"' or 4.4cm, not 2" -- but a great punch!

First, this punch isn't 2" -- but I ordered it after reading the reviews, because I needed to make a ton of circle labels just a hair under 1.75" to fit a lid depression. This fit perfectly. It's a shame the product description is so lacking -- the packaging quite clearly states on the back that the circles are 1.73" or 4.4cm. When I measure, I get a little closer to 1.74" and 4.4cm. Unfortunately, you can't see that online, and this product shows up in 2" punch search results. So 5 stars for being a good punch (no hanging bits or rough edges in my shapes, and the shapes don't get stuck in the blades) in the size I needed, and boo to whoever wrote the product description. I marked it down one star because it has this weird trap door contraption on the bottom. It's transparent orange, so you can still see your design through it, but in order to remove your circle, you have to open the door. I suppose this would be handy for punching multiple shapes in quick succession, but it's just annoying to me. It looks like it will come off fairly easily, but I'm not so sure it will go back on, so I'm going to live with it a while longer and see if I grow to appreciate it before I remove it permanently.

Bought this to make those paper garlands, then proceeded to punch 800 linear feet of circles in a weekend... It was a CHAMP. However, I think we literally pushed the limits of this bad boy, and it started jamming. I am not that surprised, we punched so so so so so many holes. But, still! Anyway, they replaced it, since we had only had it for 4 days, and the metal was giving out. So that was fabulous. But, if you are going on a hole punching bender like we were, just be aware that it might not make it through 300 sheets of paper, with 25 holes each. Also, I don't know what these other clowns are saying: it punches holes that are exactly 2 inches in diameter

Bad Punch

So I wanted a 3 inch circle punch and found one here. I ordered it and the first issue was that it did not get delivered when it was supposed to. Oh no it shows up 4 days later in a tattered bag. So I open it with a big Yeah it is here. But no, it was in a second tattered bag and the package was ripped open and damaged. Ok I think that is ok it will still work. NO IT DOES NOT. I look at it closer and it isn't even the right size punch. They sent me a 2 inch not the 3 inch I ordered. I am not sure who messed up but I will make sure not to buy from this seller again. Also it will barely mark the paper let alone punch a hole. The lever for the punch will not go down all the way to punch. THIS IS A BAD ITEM. I really hope Fiskars is not going down hill.

Good quality

Fiskers is a trusted name and it did not disappoint with this punch. Works great with card stock and wafer paper. Exactly what I needed it for.

Doesn't do what it says

I researched circle punches quite a bit before I decided to purchase this one. Fiskars products are normally pretty good, but I'm really disappointed with this circle punch. I use a lot of different types of papers in my art work and this doesn't seem to go through many of them. So far have only found it to go through one or two things. It won't punch through hand made paper, or anything that isn't thin book pages.

Disappointing

I did my research before I committed to buying this punch. It seems Fiskar's has a number of fans, so I went with it. I I used it a few times quite happily only a few times and then it started jamming: I managed to pry it apart at first, but now it's permanently jammed. I was only using it on printer copy paper, so it's not like it was thick paper. I have no idea if there's a warranty on this thing, but it's sturdily made and shouldn't cease to work after so little use. :( Very disappointing!

This is an excellent product. Easy to use. I use it to make wafer flowers and it works great.

Great precision

Presents the problem that the paper jams and does not come out. I've done it with different types of paper and it actually circles very precisely.
