Quality Scissors - well worth the money
Finally broke down and purchased a quality pair of scissors. These are amazing! Was nervous - but, cuts through fabric with precision.

Did not work well for my size SMALL Female hand.
I have some arthritis plus a slight birth defect in right hand. As a child into early adult I used to cut fabric with left hand but over the years I've switched back to my right hand. I did use electric shears my parents gifted me with in my teens until they broke down in my 20's. And I tried another model and didn't like those. So with arthritis causing problems in both hands I decided to look for scissors that might fit better. I was having trouble with certain fabrics with the wheel cutters so these caught my eyes. The idea they are built to provide assist in cutting as I cut a lot of heavy duty and long runs of fabrics that appealled to me for sure. NOPE just too large for my hand. I do enjoy using their little clipper fabric cutters that spring assist by the way and those have done a marvelous job with cutting out tiny projects like face masks better than any scissors and blades I have used. But sadly these failed me and that's hand size. I think they come in a size or two smaller but one of those has a blunted nose and I already know that is not what I want and am now afraid without seeing them in person that either of the smaller sizes would still be too wide a reach for my hand size. My hubby with a Mans Large glove size works for him just fine. Figures you'll never know how many gadgets I've bought over the years for me to make my life easier has ended up with HUBBY. Sure he deserves but he's like he really wasn't in need or looking either. Life is full of challenges and my job is to outsmart and win those challenges...my cup is always half full and I wish you all stay safe and stay well. I hope these scissors fit you to a T.

Excellent in every way!!!
Love Fiskars products and their excellent warranty and customer service. These heavy duty scissors are excellent and a welcome addition to my sewing room. The feel was a little tight when first using but slightly loosened the adjustment screw and they are perfect. Open and close easily and make perfect cuts onto a wide variety of light to heavy weight fabrics. My daughter had bought a pair first and I had to buy a pair after I used hers. I've had excellent experience with the warranty and customer service on a couple other items from Fiskars so this brand is on the top of my list for products when I need something. Amazon had an awesome price on these as well which sweetened the deal!

WOW... These things cut through fabric like it was butter.
I've been a fan of Fiskars for years. I recently started cutting up old T-Shirts to make into rags, which I did with a pair of heavy duty Fiskars that I always considered my go-to pair for cutting thick items. What I noticed about my original pair was that although it cut through some tough items, it was still pretty hard cutting fabric. At best, I could fold a shirt in half, and cut two to three layers... slowly. I decided to give these a try. Although I saw they specifically built these to cut fabric, I didn't expect them to work better than my old heavy duty Fiskars. Boy, was I surprised. Not only could I cut through my half folded shirts in a fraction of the time, but I could literally roll a shirt up and cut the whole shirt with one cut. We're talking a cut of an inch or more deep in one cut. I couldn't believe it was that good. I kept looking for thicker and thicker fabrics to cut... and folding and rolling them up to see how thick I could cut. It was simply amazing.

Cuts quick smooth and precise, well worth it
I love these scissors. I had just started taking a sewing class and my instructor told us to invest in a good pair of scissors. This was one of the brands she recommended. I never paid much attention to how scissors cut, but I guess because I was usually just cutting paper. But now since I have been cutting material I see there is a big difference and it is very important how your scissors cut and these are wonderful. They cut so quick, smooth and precise and they are so comfortable to hold. They really do have an razor edge. If your looking for a great sewing scissor Do yourself a favor and purchase these, well worth it.

As a sexist, I needed these
As a sewist that's been using the same scissors for 30+ years, it was time for an upgrade. I can easily say I love my new shears! Rght size. Comfortable. Cut well. Oh, and I love the color.

Great scissors but Expensive
Only reason I rated 4 stars is the cost. These are expensive. They are strong, cut like butter, and are my go to pair of scissors in my home.

Picture does not do it justice I found them by chance
I am a new quilter and work with denim quite a lot and in doing so experience cramping in my hands due to arthritis - by chance I ordered these fabric shears and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they felt when I used them - especially when cutting thick materials. I am happy that I chose them because it makes my cutting time more enjoyable.

Great for felt projects!
These are great scissors. Super sharp and great for cutting felt projects nice and crisp. They're easy to maneuver into tight corners. I'm very happy with this purchase!
