Serviceable, but that's about it.
As a value it may be five stars. Compared to other more expensive serving it may be a two star product. It's entirely serviceable, but I ended up buying some BCY braided polygrip $10 for 0.20) because I was not thrilled with this serving. Can't compare the two since the BCY is in the mail. Four stars since I try to rate products based on their advertised merits, not compared to alternatives that are obviously superior and in cost not true substitutes.

Limp and Unravels easily. More difficult to work with than other serving threads.
Another reviewer mentioned that this thread is thicker than advertised. Well, as of today (9/24/14), there is no advertised thickness on Amazon's product page. I'm new to making/repairing my own bowstrings, so I'm no expert in the field, but this serving thread is much more difficult to use than the other's I've purchased. I picked up some Angel Majesty and BCY 62XS, both in 0.021" thickness. This Bohning serving thread is quite a bit thicker than either of these others. This may not be a fair comparison, since the Bohning is 1/2 the cost of the BCY, and nearly 1/3 the cost of the Majesty, but I'd have to say that the Bohning is by far an inferior product. Since it's twisted, not braided, the cut ends unravel very quickly and easily. I've made it a habit to tie 2 knots close to each other in the thread and then cut between the knots to prevent the cut ends from unraveling. From what I've heard and read, Angel Majesty is supposed to be the best stuff out there, but I actually like working with the BCY 62XS more. Even though it's advertised thickness is the same as Majesty, it seems to be easier to work with. It's stiff, but not too stiff. Unlike the Bohning, which is not stiff at all. It's very limp, making it a little more difficult to thread through the serving jig. I can't really say much about the durability of any of these products, since, as I stated earlier, I'm quite new to this. Maybe I'll post an update next year after loosing many, many arrows.

Does the job
I used this to tie in a peep sight into my compound bow and it does its job well. The thread is reasonably thin, but I think you don't want it too thin anyways. I would definitely buy it again, but I think 250' of thread will last me quite some time...

What can I say. It wraps well, waxes well, and melts well. It's serving thread. It hasn't broken yet, but it does fray a little more than I'd like when cut but this is just nit picking.

good serving string
It is what it said. Something the description didn't state though, its a 75 yard spool. The description show 3 colors but doesn't give an option to chose i got black when i ordered but I'm happy with that.

Good durable serving string
The main thing that this string needs to do is protect the bow string, and that it does. It's durable, not showing any wear yet after a couple of weeks of shooting and a couple hundred arrows through. On a 14 strand fast-flight string, 1 layer of this serving string is enough for a good nock fit. It also melts well when you burn off the ends and press it in. The only reason I took 1 star off is, and maybe it's just mine, because it splits kind of easily, making it a bit of a paint to start - but once you do, everything is fine.
