Makes me look cool but doesn’t stop string slap

I got two of these because I like the compression sleeve style. I don’t much like the whole medieval lord of the rings style arm guards out there. This is more Green Arrow tactical than Robin Hood in tights. It’s functional material, the arm bumper itself is very flexible unlike the rigid one that comes on a similar SAS arm sleeve, but it does it’s job. I also wear arm sleeves anyway when I’m shooting outdoors so it serves it doubles in functionality. Update... After several uses I finally got string slapped and mmaaaannn!!! That hurt!!! There’s a hollow part right where the branding is dead center on that thin rubber lining and the string hit it like one of my amazing bullseye shots. As an arm guard this thing failed in its duty to protect me. I still give it 2 stars because I look so cool wearing it, but it’s totally useless

Very light armguard with a great value. If you are a beginner you might want something with more protection while you work on your form.
