This is great string wax. I chop off a small part and mix it with hot bee's wax to use when making strings. A little goes a long way

Used as a lubricant for a zipper on an ice shanty

I bought a new ice shanty and was told to use this type of product on the zippers to keep them soft in the bitter cold. Arrived on time and was very well easy to put on the teeth. It did make a noticibly smoother feel to using the zipper. I will update again after a few uses on the ice.

This stuff is worth the purchase if you have any doubts to the overall health and longevity of your bowstring. I just put this on my 45# recurve string today. I don’t have before pictures, however I can guarantee you this string prior to waxing had seen better days. It looks next to new now and the crazy part is, you can feel an overall improvement of the string itself immediately after application.

Bohnning products are great

Bohning has been around as long as I can remember. They put lot of research in anything they sell. This goes on like any other bow string wax should. I use a small piece of thin leather to apply it with. You have to heat the wax up as you apply it, and I get friction burns on my fingers if I dont use the leather. The wax holds well when applied propperly. I reccommend it.

A great little container I will not leave home without.

A very thick, but very protective formulation. The others I've used are way too watery. It was great putting them on, but after drying and firing, you can still see the material coming off like it's formed iced flying off a cable wire in motion. With this, using a small piece of soft leather, I rubbed on both my wife's and my bows' strings, we have yet to find a complaint against it. It's a lot of work putting it on, and making sure the wax is melted and infused into the string, but the work is well worth it. Good muscle exercises, burn a bit of calories, great protection, and all can be done while watching mindless television during my downtime.

Like chapstick for your bow

It goes on relatively easy and seems to coat the string very well at first. My string seemed to fray back out by after about 20 pulls... Not sure if the string or the wax is to blame.

The paramount of bowstring wax

This wax is extremely versatile, in that I used it on dacron and dyneema strings (angel asb). The wax feels fairly dry and is not sticky on hands. It will last a long time if used appropriately. I've shot about 1k-2k arrows without even using 1/2 inch of the tube.

The silicone and wax blend seems to work great and not crumble or dry out. Easy to use.

A must have in your Bow maintenance kit

Love it! I ended up purchasing this wax because my old one that was given to me was dried up and slowly crumbling (only way I was able to apply it was with a hairdryer melting it first). So since that one was basically useless, I gave this Bohning Wax a try, and wow... It is so butter smooth,- it applies wonderfully, super soft and brings your strings back to brand new shine! while they are protected from the weather. This is a must have, the price is right too! Do yourself a favor and at the MINIMUM maintain your string of your bow/x bow!

Application is clean with good penetration.

Nice wax not as same feel vs the traditional wax agent. Smooth to apply maybe due to silicone blend. Highly recommend for modern strings used this on my compound bow and crossbow. Great price too. This will surely last a few seasons. Kudos to the seller. Thanks.
