A Perfect Product for Lingerie, Sportswear, Cycling Clothes, and fine washables.
I have been using Eucalan for years. I wash all my lingerie, sportswear, and knits. My clothes look beautiful and new far longer than using regular detergent. I like it so much I buy it by the gallon.

Works well for blocking yarn work
Very pleasant smell and makes the yarn soft. Blocked yarn projects turn out well and smell great.

I love this stuff
I just love this stuff and the jasmine smells so good. I use it for bras, linens, silk pillowcases, wool sweaters, down jackets. It's supposed to be no-rinse but I can't bring myself not to rinse off dirty water, so i just wash things twice to keep the scent. If you rinse with just water, most of the scent does go away.

Great cleaning and smell
It did the job. Washed a sheepskin rug. It smelled great afterwards and did a good job cleaning it.

Comparison to The Laundress New York Wool and Cashmere Shampoo and Soak Wash!
As a hand knitter, blocking is an important technique in getting your hand knitted items into a desired shape by redistributing the stitches, without stretching it out or damaging the fibers. Plain water can be used for this purpose but to keep the natural fibers soft and to preserve the natural lanolin oils found in theses fibers, a wool wash is more efficient. I have purchased and used this item, along withThe Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo, Cedar, 16 fl. oz. – 32 loads andSoakwash Liquid Laundry Wash, 12-Ounce, Scentless . Here is my comparison of all three items: 1. Eucalan Delicate Wash Wrapture – Jasmine This is a no rinse wash that contains a touch of lanolin to naturally condition fibers. I used this wash on several Lopapeysas that I hand knitted with scratchy Icelandic wool. I simply poured about 2 capfuls per gallon of cold water and let the sweater sit overnight. I squeezed it out and laid flat to dry (on a blocking mat) the next day (shaping if necessary). This wash was perfect in softening the wool and gave it a light jasmine scent. Grade A+ 2. The Laundress New York Wool and Cashmere Shampoo – Cedar This is a highly concentrated wool and cashmere shampoo that contains lanolin and cedar extracts. I also used this wash on hand knitted Lopapeysas and a fisherman’s sweater for my husband. I did the same process using about 2 capfuls per gallon of cold water and let the sweater sit overnight, however, this shampoo (it’s sudsy and soapy), requires rinsing. I rinsed with cold water until it ran clear then squeezed it out and laid flat to dry (on a blocking mat) the next day (shaping if necessary). I also recommend this shampoo for washing (cleaning) wool items that have been soiled or sweaty. It works wonderfully on my husband and children’s ski wool items and base layers. This wash was perfect in softening the wool and giving it a lovely cedar “woodsy” smell that is perfect for the “manly” man yet still subtle and feminine for the “girly” girl! Grade A+ 3. Soak Wash for Hand Knits – Scentless This is a gentle no rinse formula that’s phosphate free and perfect for people with sensitive skin or sensitive noses! I use this for all my hand knitted baby and children’s items (form socks and hats to sweaters and blankets) and hand knitted items I give as gifts. I think this one would be perfect for other delicate items such as lingerie. I follow the same method, as with the other washes (soak, squeeze and rinse, lay flat to dry). This wash was perfect in providing the softness without the fragrance! Grade A+ Note I cannot comment on how any of these washes/shampoos preform on machine washed items as I’ve only done them by hand. None of my items have shrunk using any of the above washes/shampoos. I highly recommend any of the above three for your wool, cashmere, or natural fiber items!

Great for Washing Woolens
When I wash my handknit socks in Eucalan Jasmine, they smell so nice! And they get very clean. Good stuff.

Intoxicating fragrance
This is the best product for washing sweaters. It is especially good for wool because it contains lanolin, a natural oil secreted by sheep. I lent a cashmere sweater to a friend who unfortunately washed and dried it. I thought it was ruined until I re-washed it in Eucalan and laid it flat to dry. It completely restored the cashmere, good as new. The Wrapture fragrance is absolutely delicious! This product is a little pricey, but it is worth every penny.

Saved my sweaters!
I hate hand washing or taking things to the dry cleaners. I thought using woolite and the cold delicate cycle on my washing machine couldn’t possibly be THAT BAD for my wool sweaters. I reshaped and lay them flat to dry. They shrunk. Not to an unwearable size, but noticeably tighter and shorter. And then it got worse the next time I washed them. I had pretty low expectations, but I saw this product was recommended to help unshrink sweaters. I basically followed the “by hand”directions on the bottle, but probably soaked for closer to 25 minutes. It seemed to allow the fibers to relax again, and I was able to stretch the sweaters back to a more comfortable size. They fit and feel pretty much like new. I wish I knew about Eucalan sooner, it feels like such a game changer and should make caring for my sweaters a lot less of a hassle in the future!

fantastic woolen wash, best on market
Fantastic, brilliant, genius product. My hubby wears heavy real wool jumpers for work and gets the filthy. Not only does this get them clean it maintains them in fantastic condition. I also knit fine lace in thin merino and silk. Just need a sink of water a tiny amount of product, then I put my lace and a few pairs of handknitted socks in, drink a cup of tea. Take them out, put in a washing bag and spin them in the machine. That's it! Done! Result soft clean and ever so slightly perfumed but in a natural way. No shrinking, no heavy rinsing, the washing is less work than making the cup of tea!

Beautiful results - restored an old sweater!
This product has lanolin in it and is so pure and gentle, instructions say you don't need to rinse it out. I was skeptical, but it worked. After soaking an old beloved mohair sweater-coat for 10 minutes (in the bathtub - very little tepid/cold water, only enough to cover)- and 4 capfuls of this product, I rolled it in a towel, stretched it flat to dry, and while it was still damp, gently brushed it with a soft hairbrush. It took 48 hours to dry, but It's like new. Completely restored! Soft again, with no more musty smell. Highly recommend.

Excellent for anything that needs hand washing
This is a Godsend for my silk shirts & cashmere jumpers- in fact anything that would benefit from a hand wash. It takes the hard work out of it! Just soak in a bath of Luke warm water for 20 mins minimum with 2 capfuls then spin in your machine. I put my stuff in a pillowcase to protect it in the machine....comes out good as new and smells fab

How is this so awesome? Seriously
I could not be more impressed. First, I love the scent of jasmine, and this smells great. Natural, not harsh. But I'm mostly amazed as how well this works compared to any other lingerie wash I've used -- and I've tried a lot of very expensive brands over the years. The first time I washed a batch of lace bralets and a nightgown with an ivory cotton lace insert and I was blown away by how good they looked. The cotton lace looked brand new and brighter than I remember it ever being. Cotton lace just tends to get darker over time no matter how carefully you wash it. My well-worn bralets also looked like new -- the colour really brightened. I literally marvelled at how good my clothes looked when I pulled them out of the wash and I've never done that before. I've used this for sink handwashing but mostly use it in my front loading machine on the handwash cycle: for that I add only 1-2 tbsp for a handwash load, then I tumble dry half way on the cool setting. I know this is pricey, but it does many loads and is so effective it's well worth it.
