Works OK
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, my husband hacked what was then an old-school hand-soap dispenser made by a brand that may or may not rhyme with "my soll." This was back in the day when these sorts of things were just becoming available on the market. We weren't so much interested in the hand-soap. We wanted this to use with dish soap. He ended up drilling a hole in the top to refill with the soap and even found a tiny rubber cork to put in. We used that thing for YEARS, replacing soap, replacing batteries, and cleaning the sensor off (because when they get dirty, they dispense soap all over kingdom come). Our old work-horse finally gave up. We saw this, and jumped on it, thinking that this would be so much better. It's modern, after all, and doesn't need any hacks. It's.....ok. It works as you'd expect. You fill with soap at the top (which has a convenient opening for refilling). My biggest beef with it is that I wish the arm that dispenses the soap were a bit further out from the body of the dispenser. It's rather nubby, and it's hard to avoid touching the dispenser, therefore triggering the dirty sensor - soap dispensing constantly phenomenon mentioned above. We're absolutely using it, but I rather liked the shape of my old one. This also seems a bit pricey, therefore I can only award 3 stars.

It works well, but it feels a little cheap for the price
It's a nice soap dispenser that works really well for what it's suppose to do. But, at the time of this review, the soap dispenser is at around $35. For $35 I would expect an automatic soap dispenser in pristine condition. This one came with a few nicks on it (as seen in the photo) and the whole empty/full mechanism is very cloudy, making it hard to judge where the soap line is actually at in the dispenser. If you're concerned with price or aesthetics then this dispenser might not be for you. But if you're looking for a soap dispenser with solid mechanics, then I will say this is a safe purchase.

Just OK
this one works OK. I have dial orange soap in it, and you have to put your hand under a few times to get a good amount. the first time, nothing comes out, but you can hear the motor running, the second time you get a half amount and the third time a full amount. this is how it works every time. unless used back to back. It does the job, so I have kept it. a tad annoying.

It works but …..
The media could not be loaded. I gave it 4 stars because there are 2 things I wish it had. One; I wish it didn’t use a lot of batteries. It uses 3 AAA batteries, it will get expensive in the long run. If you use crappy batteries at the dollar store, it won’t last, so you might as well use the good ones ( I use Duracell) . 2 would have been reasonable . The 2nd reason is , I wish it came with proper instructions, I had to figure out myself to turn it off was to ling press the power button. If you press it once, it will just move to adjust how heavy you want the soap to dispense. Its for household use for me , so I need it to be the lowest as possible because kids would waste so much soap and do it over and over because they think its fun and games. It is good to have in the kitchen sink, when you are handling raw meat and don’t want to touch surfaces and need to wash your hands. It is a nice feature for being hands free. I also wish the spout dispenser was a bit longer so the soap doesn’t get to the body of the soap and looks messy but you can just turn it off and clean it . Overall it is good to have but not a necessity.
