Not bad, and i like foaming soap

This was labeled as a commercial hand pump but if this was installed in a public bathroom i think it would have a short lifespan. Ours has developed a notchy feel on the down stroke, not affecting performance, but we will see how it lasts long term. For home use (what i am using it for) i think its fine, although i (Myself, girlfriend and 2 roomates) have only used it for about a month now. We do all our dishes by hand, so it has definitely not sat idle. The dispenser gets 4 stars, but i am writing this review for the system including the soap which comes in a special container that is required, and the flavor choices are limited. One thing to note, the spout does not rotate or twist, it is fixed. I didnt know this before ordering, but we have made due just fine. It installed super easy, no zany attaching methods, just a simple 1" hole and you are good to go. Our counter had a rough 1.5" hole blasted into it with either dynamite or a hammer and a chisel and the pump covered it nicely. It also comes with a adhesive rubber gasket to ensure water does not leak down past the pump when the counter gets wet. the soap... meh i am not too happy with that. I only saw a few choices and the price was rather steep, $20 if i remember correctly. I installed this on our kitchen sink to use for dishes and all the soap choices were typical commercial hand soaps. I bought one of the single containers, we used it up and then i just cut a small hole at the top and filled it with 1/3 our favorite dish soap and 2/3 water. Now the ladies of the house are much happier with the foam, and i am much happier that we have a foaming dispenser. So if i had more soap choices, or the soap was cheaper i think 4 stars are in order. But for our use the first container of soap sucked, not enough to dump it out, but im glad it is all used up and we are on to better (and more cost effective) soap for our needs.

Nice but with a catch

The dispenser was low cost, easy to install and looks good. I'm giving it 4 stars as it doesn't really pump soap or foam the soap itself. The pump and foaming mechanism is located on the refill bottle with cost around $20 or more at the time of the review. The dispenser has a metal rod which extends all the way down to the refill bottle. Think of it as pressing a button with a broomstick in between. Gojo probably decided to design this similar to inkjet printers where the unit itself is cheap and make most of the money from the refills. As another reviewer indicated, it is possible to get a least the first bottle and then refill it afterwards. At the time of my purchase there are not that many options for sink mount foaming soap dispensers and most of them are to the tune of $60 or more which makes this purchase justified. Most low cost sink mount soap dispensers are of the non-foaming type.

Easy install

This little gadget was a quick and easy installation. It gets rid of all the clutter around my sink. Love the soap too. My update on this after using it for more than a year - it is not working. The pump does not spring back into place. It is very slow to return to the position needed to pump again for more soap. The soap is great. It will not defat your hands. I may be replacing this soon. Cheap was not smart. I should have bought a really good dispenser. Bummed out about this now.

Good replacement for liquid soap dispenser

Much bigger then typical kitchen under counter bottle, make sure you have room. If so, it so far has been a good product. 4 stars as I would have liked a higher quality / verity of pump finishes for use in higher end kitchens to match sink hardware finishes already in place.

Something different, works and looks great

The dispenser is not as foaming as I expected. It does look nice on my new granite counter. The replacement soap is expensive (although it lasts a long time) and I am hoping to figure out how to refill it myself.

Buyer beware, bait and switch

The dispenser is inexpensive, but the refills are single use and cost the price of a small child. Instructions didn't state this fact. Had I known that I would have never purchased it to begin with, complete scam.

Doesn't come with soap. Don't know where to find it. Useless.

Came with no soap cartridge and I don't see any to order. Can't be used without it. Waste of money, time, and effort.
