Good design, so-so performance
I purchased the Danze Parma because I wanted a soap dispense with simple style. Many of the ones I've looked at have too many curves or other styling that just didn't fit the modern look I wanted for my kitchen. It's been installed in the kitchen for almost two months not. I have to say I'm disappointed with the quality compared to the cheaper Pegasus dispenser I bought years ago from HD for my last place. This dispenser is slim which I like, but it also mean it feels a bit unstable. As you push down, it can move a bit from side to side which I don't like. It's not broken or anything, but it just seems flimsy that way. Also, I've noticed that if you don't use it frequently, the soap (I'm guessing) must slide back down into the bottle rather than stay up the straw (like with a pump lotion bottle). Because of that, the next day or so, I find that I have to pump several times to get the liquid soap to come out. With my old dispenser, it always came out the minute I pushed down. The previous pump was good enough that I only need press down a little if I just wanted a dab of soap rather than a whole squirt. I don't have that fine control with the Danze. Overall, it does the job, but I've had better. **update May 2011** Now the opposite is also happening. Sometimes soap continues to leak out after we've finished washing dishes for the night. I'll come back a few hours later and find a puddle of soap collecting in the sick. It's annoying to see the soap get wasted. And in the past month, our sink has started to rust where the soap drips. I'm not sure if it's dishwashing soap in general or this particular dishwashing brand but I think it's time to replace the dispenser before the problems gets more expensive.

Pretty, but needs better functionality
I bought this dispenser to go with my new faucet (Schon 404). It's a great match, and I love the design aesthetic. It worked great for a week, and suddenly started leaking soap. Then, when you go to pump soap, you now have to pump three, four, or maybe even five times to get soap to come out. But then it leaks for hours afterward. My husband seems to think that it's because of the nozzle, but after reading other reviews from this same brand, it appears to be an issue of the return spring quality. I'm going to look into replacing that. This dispenser replaced a cheapo Home Depot dispenser that worked fabulously for at least five years with not a single problem - but it did have an arched nozzle. We tried to replace that dispensers functionality with this one, but they weren't interchangeable. Oh, and two weeks after getting it, I've yet to be billed. It says it will ship soon. Hard to return something that shows it hasn't been shipped!

Good price, simple design looks nice and gets the job done
Purchased 2 of these for our new kitchen to hold dish and hand soap. Threaded body is quite long and was able to penetrate through 3/4" granite slab, shims and 5/8" plywood underlayment. However I did have to use a large hole saw to cut a whole out of the additional 3/4" crossbeam that the cabinet was constructed of in order for the nut to thread on underneath. The finish is nice and quality seems decent considering the price. I can't believe how much these things cost! Have been using it for 6 months and the only negative is that I see a slight green tinge to some of the soap that sits inside the end of the nozzle and I wonder if that is the insides corroding away? Only time will tell.

It looks fantastic. But the way it is designed with a ...
I'm hesitant to give this soap dispenser even 2 stars. I purchase this about 3 years ago and had it installed in my kitchen countertop for a convenient soap dispenser. It looks fantastic. But the way it is designed with a horizontal spout causes it to drip blobs of liquid soap into the sink when nobody is pushing it. Almost like having a ghost for a roommate! I think what happens is when you press the pump it sucks the lotion up the tube into the dispenser but then when you walk away and leave it for a while the soap drips down from the straw back into the container that holds the soap which releases the vacuum pressure and allows the soap in the nozzle of the dispenser to drip out. This wastes soap and ultimately wastes water because then I need to turn on the sink and wash the soap that's stuck to the side of my sink away.

Dispenser Drips
Aesthetically, the soap dispenser is beautiful. Very satisfied with its look. The main reason for rating this pump a two and not a one. Functionally it is very poor. I switched my dispenser from a Kohler to this Danze since I wanted to go from a gold finish to stainless steel. This Danze dispenser drips when not in use resulting in a sink that has soap deposits all the time. Also, you need two hands to dispense the soap, one hand to hold the sponge and a second hand to pump the dispenser. With my old Kohler dispenser, I was able to pump the dispenser with the same hand that is holding the sponge. This is a big deal when washing a sink full of dishes. For some reason, the Danze pump is not very smooth requiring the strength of second hand to depress the bump down. I purchased their matching Faucet to go with this dispenser and am pleased with the faucet.

the length of the spout
Love this mounted soap dispenser. I had to replace one that I had and didn't realize the spouts come in different lengths. After buying one that was too short I decided to measure the old one that I had installed. This one is perfect!!!! Love using it and goes perfectly with my kitchen faucet even though they are not made by the same manufacturer.

High-end looks for a fraction of the price
This is a terrific looking soap dispenser, especially at this price point. I purchased a houseful of Cifial products for our new home and was disappointed that they didn't offer a matching soap dispenser for our kitchen faucet, so I was thrilled to find this. It has a very similar design as our faucet and the matches great with it. Easy enough to add soap through the top - simply pull up on the handle to remove, pour in soap and drop handle back in place without any tightening. No complaints - works great.

Use plastic like everyone else
It all works well but the spout has some tin part inside that makes the soap green so every morning I have to pump the green guck out of it so I can use it. To the Danze manufacturing: do something about this already, many people have complained about it. Use plastic like everyone else.

One Star
This product regularly leaks soap into the sink from the spout due to the pump. The inside plastic piece that extends into the soap container constantly falls off and it is incredibly difficult to retrieve from the top. The stainless steel coating of the pump has stained permanently. I would not recommend this product.

Not so satisfied with the product
The quality of this pump was good and it was easy to install; however, it drips occasionally and it was annoying, I would not recommend this product to others.

Looks good...... But it drips a lot
Looks nice but it drips, good thing it's over the sink, impossible to see how much soap you're pouring into very small cylinder ...
