Absolutely beautiful, but still a cable mess
As the title entails, these fans are absolutely beautiful, any direction you look at them from you are getting light from them, and along with that the cage side of the fan actually has the Corsair logo rather than the typical specs sticker. It just makes the fans look great whether or not they are intake or exhaust, and whether they are on a rad or not. But the only issue is the same as any other Corsair fans. Cables, cables and more cables. 2 cables per fan, and they have to be plugged in, in order on a Corsair commander, so in spot 1, 2 and 3 or 4, 5, 6 if you have other fans. So it's just a cable management nightmare for those who care about that. For me that all just gets shoved in the back, and as long as the inside looks good that's all that matters. So if you are already in the Corsair ecosystem I recommend getting these, because no matter where they are in your case they will look stunning.

These fans are clean, bright, and great
These fan are fantastic so far, it been keeping my computer cool, granted I have like 8 fans, sure. Now the led is bright and clear. Jusy make sure you set up the fan in correct order thru what ever program you use

They are beautiful! No video or still shot, is going to be able to capture how beautiful they are.
I had 10 Antec RGB fans in my Lian Li 011 XL. I couldn't imagine they could be that much better... I was wrong! I've owned them for a month. And I am very happy with my purchase. They work in both iCue and SignalRGB. They are very bright and very colorful.

Corsair finally simplifying their ecosystem
I've not been that keen on Corsair products over the years, mostly due to how much they restrict you to their ecosystem, and partly because of how complex some of it can get. In particularly, their fans in recent years have been not desirable to me as the entire process seemed entirely overbearing with how much you needed to do to get them up and running, particularly with RGB. While iCue hasn't been that bad for me, I've seen the horror stories across the internet with that software as well. That all said, these intrigued me. I was curious about the lighting and having purchased their light towers, had a reason to use iCue on my test bench. So I decided to give these a go right out of the gate, had reason to praise Corsair. Instead of requiring multiple pieces to get the RGB lighting to work, you only need the included Lighting Node Core, which allows up to 6 fans to be connected for the lighting. That then connects to your motherboard via an internal USB 2.0 header, and you're off and running. For the fan speed, you still need to connect them, but there's nothing proprietary there. I chose to use a three-way splitter and connect them to a 4-pin PWM header on my motherboard. Right off the bat, these fans look spectacular. The ability to not just change the outer ring, but the inner ring is great on its own, but you can go even further as they've divided the zones into front and back as well. This means you can really get crazy with the lighting effects and combos, which is something Corsair has done very well over the years. There are 34 total LED's per fan, which is just insane to think about. The fans themselves operate up to 1500RPM, which isn't the fastest by far, but will be good enough for most. They aren't terribly noisy for the most part, although they're noticeable at their highest speed, but then again, most fans are going to be noticeable when cranked all the way up. I had these on an AIO radiator and they performed just fine, keeping temps on an AMD 3600X pretty reasonable, even under a constant Cinebench load. In short, you won't notice any cooling changes switching to these, unless you always operate your fans at full blast and are coming from EK Vardar fans or something else that comes in at a higher speed. When these fans first launched, finding them for a decent price was impossible as they seemed to run anywhere from $130-150, which is very, very steep. Even at around $105-115, which is where they've been the last few months, they're still very expensive, especially when you consider some fans can be found for under $60 for a 3 pack. You're paying for the Corsair name, so how much that's worth to you will determine if these are a good value for you. Personally, I think if they're around $100 and you already have a healthy Corsair ecosystem, they can be worth it. I personally prefer Lian Li's Uni Fans, especially with how much cabling they remove from the equation and how light the software is to control them. All that said, they're beautiful fans that perform pretty well. If you don't mind the cost and are invested in Corsair's ecosystem, you'll be happy with these. Simply put, I've not seen fans that can compare in terms of how much you can do with the lighting, so how much that matters will determine if these are worth it to you.

VERY BRIGHT
I love how bright these fans are. They aren't nearly as quiet as Noctua but that's not why your getting these. The QL fans have LED's on both sides of the fan so you can still see them regardless of if they are in push or pull. They are also much cheaper on Amazon right now compared to other sites and stores!

Best looking fans out there until they're not. Purple spots on entire set.
When these fans are working properly, they are the best looking fans I have seen. I've bought several sets for different PCs in the last few years. One full set of three I purchased in late 2020 now has stuck purple LEDs. They are in different spots on each of the three fans, but all three of this set have the issue. The fans still work, but when you buy them for the lighting effects, it is still a product failure. To be fair, I have two other sets in other PCs that are fine. Unfortunately, I believe the warranty to be 2 years on these and they were pretty pricey (~$130 or so when I bought them). This seems to be a common problem with these fans from what I've found. I expected more, and I am very disappointed with Corsair. (PN: CO-9050104-WW for reference.)

MEGA!
Nein!

Never again Corsair - this was my first and last buy. Also 6 von 6.

They're nice-ish
The product: The fans are quiet, I ramped them to 100% for testing and they're definitely not as loud as the MLs from corsair. iCue works. A little finicky, and you can't mix and match fans. After setting up three as exhaust and three LLs as intake, my temps are perfectly fine. As mentioned in other reviews, the center logo isn't perfectly aligned so it does wiggle when spinning. Apart from that, the RGB is beautiful which is all you really care about if you're purchasing these. Mounting these is absolutely horrendous. The screws are extremely tight. I really don't know why they're not already threaded or why the screws included are way too big. If you can take the RGB tax and put it towards better built performance fans, do it. The experience: I first purchased the three pack with the RGB controller. New. The box was taped up and had previously been opened, the cardboard packet inside containing the screws and manual was already torn. For the price, that's unacceptable to begin with. However, I just wanted to get my build finished. After installing the fans, I booted up and one wasn't spinning. I tried a working fan in the same header and it spun right up. Just to verify i tried the non-spinning fan in another header and it was still dead. Opened package and a dead fan. On a new product. After contacting amazon who told me "have you tried turning your PC on and off?", I requested an immediate replacement or refund for the broken fan. They then did actually refund me the cost of the one fan so i could buy another. Which in my honest opinion, was a really good resolution. I got a new fan the next day... So, my new fan works. However, the screws are missing. It's not an issue since I already have the screws but what the hell? That's twice something has been wrong. I think I'll be going with other retailers for my components from now on.

Fantastic LED fans but with a possible flaw.
As everyone who builds their own PC knows, selecting the parts is a long process to get everything right for your dream machine and getting the right fans is a big part of this as they often provide most of the lighting effects. I spent ages deciding which fans to get and ended up selecting Corsair's QL fans mainly because of the way they look and especially as they have the LED's on both sides as the 6 that I was installing would all be intake fans and therefore I'd be seeing the back of them. I also like how everything gels so nicely with Corsair's iCUE software which now even lets you control nanoleaf panels. (I currently use iCUE to control the lighting on the 6 QL fans, memory modules, motherboard, GPU, keyboard, mouse, mouse mat and 2 sets of nanoleaf panels and all work seamlessly together) Installation is a real chore however due to the fact each fan has 2 cables for power and lighting so you end up with quite a mess of cables that provides a challenge for tidy cable management although I was building in Lian-Li's 011 Dynamic case which is a dual chamber and helps to hide most of the cable management. I used one of the lighting node core's that come with the triple pack of fans to connect the LED cables and this was then connected to a Commander Pro along with the power cables. A load of zip ties are necessary to help with tidying all the cables! Once I had the fan curves set up correctly (Corsair's standard curves are too generic and produce too much noise) the fans run with little noise and can hardly be noticed in the background, in fact under heavy gaming it's the NZXT fans I have installed on their AIO that make most of the noise, and the QL's are still relatively quiet, so much so that I'm tempted to replace the NZXT fans with more QL fans. Once everything is configured sitting back and admiring the huge number of lighting effects is very satisfying, however this is where the flaw appeared. As with many other reviews I've seen, I noticed with certain colour combinations that some of the leds were coloured incorrectly, the first fan did this only a couple of months in to using them. Once I realized it was a fault on one of the leds I would either turn that led off or use a colour that didn't show it but when the problem started on all six fans with multiple leds on each fan I decided to follow up with Corsair as I felt for the cost they should be perfect. Corsair were relatively quick to respond and I communicated back and fore via email with the same tech who provided 2 options. 1. standard RMA which means sending them to Corsair for inspection and once they were satisfied they were faulty they would send replacements. Or 2. Expedited RMA where Corsair charges your credit card and sends out replacements straight away, once received you send the faulty ones back in the prepaid envelope that comes with your replacements and once they examine them and agree they're faulty they refund your credit card. It was only after they had all the info including proof of purchase that they suddenly requested another photo of the fans showing the faults with all lights set to white and when I sent this to them they decided that they wouldn't bother with the RMA and just sent out 6 replacement fans without me having to return the faulty ones which was appreciated. So in summary, PROs 1. Fantastic look and large number of leds making them extremely configurable 2. Work seamlessly with iCUE software 3. Very Quiet running once fan curves are configured CONs 1. Expensive 2. Cabling nightmare, especially if used in cases that are not dual chamber 3. Possible LED faults (although hard to determine just how widespread this is as more often or not people only leave reviews when they have a problem) and a real pain to have to remove and reinstall. Personally, I love the look of these fans so much I'd take the risk with the fault, especially as the warranty is 2 years and my experience with Corsair's after sales was quite good. I think the only other fans I'd consider at the moment are Lian-Li's new Infinity uni-fans which not only look stunning but they seem to have nailed the cabling issues with their interlocking fan set up. The only thing against those for me is that I'm heavily invested in Corsairs iCUE software but we'll see when I next upgrade or rebuild :-) Hope this review helps anyone who's considering these fans.

QL-120/QL-140 RGB Kauf muss jeder sehr gut überlegen ob lohnt (Preis/Leistung). Gesamt als Hardware/Software/Preis Paket: nur 3 STERNE !
