Smooth and quiet
Seems faster, smoother and quieter than when using a Dacron string. I am noticing that after 100 or so shots the center serving is starting to look worn at the nock point. I’ll keep track and update further on. Mostly used on 35# recurve but a dozen or so shots with 45# limbs on.

It's a string.
It works well, I suppose. It's quieter than my bow's original string, but I'm getting some light string slap. That may be my fault as I've only been shooting archery for one month. Therefore, I can't speak much to the technical specs. I've been using this string for two hours now and I'll update my review if anything changes. This Amazon listing currently has very few details or images. The string is solid black with white and black serving. It sends arrows downrange with a muted thud, rather than a rattling as produced by my previous string. This string sits evenly in the vertical string recesses near the limb tips. Here's my setup: Samick Sage, 35 pounds, 62". Bear Weather side plate and velcro on the riser. Gold Tip Traditional 600 spine, 30". Thread nock using some strands from 550 paracord. I gave the string several twists before putting it on my bow. Afterward, it measured 8.25" brace height. After being slapped several times in the mid forearm, I lowered the brace height to 7.75". This had little effect. I'm working on adjusting my form to avoid this. Overall, I can't really tell if this is better than the string that came with my bow. It feels as if that's the case. It's definitely quieter. For $13, I'm fairly satisfied and I hope this string will show its strengths as I shoot it more.

An improvement over OEM dacron strings.
I ordered these for an OMP Smokey Mountain Hunter (rebranded Sage) 40# and an OMP Mountaineer 2.0 (rebranded Spyder) 50#. These FF strings are not Flemish style and look pretty much like the OEM, except the servings on the FFs look nicer and the top loop is bigger. They fit properly and only required a few twists to get within brace height specs. The arrow nocks fit well on the serving. I chronied the OEM strings against the FF strings, although not exactly apples to apples due to different silencers. I used Gold Tip Traditional 500s 8.6 gpi x 30" w/ 100 grain screw in tips, so I'm estimating a total arrow weight of maybe 390gr with nocks, fletchings, and insert. I have a tad over 28" actual draw length. The OEM strings with brush buttons and rubber strand silencers: The 40# bow shot 176fps The 50# bow shot 185fps The FF strings with beaver balls (seem heavier than the rubber strand silencers) and no buttons: 40# bow is now shooting at 185 fps 50# bow is now shooting at 196fps So, now my 40# bow with the FF string and beaver balls is shooting as fast as the 50# did with the OEM string and rubber strands, and the 50# is shooting faster yet. I can't say the FF strings are any quieter, and I plan to install brush buttons to bring the noise down more. The performance is improved and the price is right. I do wish these had the cool Flemish twist look, but considering the price, they are a good value.

Product as described....fast shipping.. price was right!
Perfect....as described....size, etc. seems to be high quality...however ...that being said....I have yet to actually Noc an arrow on it and shoot so I cannot address how it shoots....I am thinking it will shoot just fine...I'm giving it 5 stars
