A lifesaver
I have a Browning Bridger compound bow which I bought in 1992 and which I really like. It has the teardrop setup for the bowstring and I am able to change the string without a bow press. Unfortunately my cable slide broke and I also had some issues with my cable guard. Fortunately, the cable guard just required an adjustment and tightening. The part posed a bigger problem. First of all, I had no idea what it was called and Browning stopped making Bridgers or any bows, for that matter, years ago. I was able to find a diagram of the bow and learned the part is called a cable slide. I searched for it on Amazon and sure enough they had one. I ordered the LimbSaver and it solved the problem completely. I had no problem putting it on and my bow works fine. It is also a lot quieter. I would recommend this product, I think it is better than the original cable slide and it saved me getting a new bow.

Huge improvement over stock slides. Improves accuracy and no more squeak.
I have tried just about all these different little gadgets that LimbSaver makes claiming to reduce vibration/noise with no success. They are all well made but make absolutely no difference in sound or vibration. This universal cable slide is their one product that really works and I use it on everything. After several hundred shots with any new bow, the cable slides seem to get noisy and rough. In extreme cases worn stock slides and rods stick enough to cause a random miss to the right. The universal cable slide is always the solution.

I ordered this because the stock slide on my elite pulse started chattering after a hunting trip in the rain. This slide is a little bulky and I wish it was offered in some other colors than white. But It's fairly smooth and does what it's designed for

Mysteriously Unreliable
I've had my Hammer bow since 2012, and it came with a Limbsaver teflon cable slide. It split apart of its own accord, mid-shot, slapping aside the arrow and wreaking havoc. When I asked the bowmaker what happened, they said they couldn't account for it. Hence, I can't recommend this device.
