Great Power Cord at a Decent Price
Very sturdy 50-foot long power cord with good and well-fastened connectors and sizable wiring. Being so sturdy, it should hold up well for periodic use when hunting and camping, to bring standard household-level (120-volt) electricity from my gas generator into my 7'x12' converted cargo camping trailer in order to power 120-volt devices like a home freezer, a meat grinder, a television screen for viewing the day's nature photos, my computer, an electric heater, coffeepot, or other such devices (but NOT all at the same time, of course). Nevertheless, the 30-amp power cord allows for safely powering two standard 15-amp electricity circuits in the trailer, and thus simultaneously running more devices such as a home freezer and a meat grinder when butchering wild game out on the prairie or up in the mountain forest, away from civilization. At 50' in length, we will be able to position the generator well away from the trailer, to permit normal conversation during generator use. The cord, being yellow, is less likely to be left behind and lost. Note that the connectors on both ends are the 3-prong (NOT 4-prong) 30-amp twist-type plugs. (The web also shows the 4-prong style, if that is what you need instead.) Also note that this cord could be used in a plug-in type situation, such as in a developed campground or at home or (some) motels, assuming the power source offers a 3-prong 30-amp twist-type electrical receptacle for your use, or assuming that you have a short plug-converter cord to temporarily use to connect this cord to a regular 120-volt receptacle.

I love/hate this hose
OK, it holds air and there is nothing wrong with the hose, EXCEPT: I call it the "Devil Hose". It is the most tangle, ungiving unmanageable miserable nasty thing I ever had to deal with. I bought it, I use it and I cuss it. All it wants to do is curl-up in that little 10 inch ball it came packed as. You can pull all day and the hose just will not give up a loop. It will pull everything over on the floor and sweep everything off your work bench. I hate this hose! Hard to put away, hard to get out and hard to use. Rather string Barbed Wire! But it holds air and does that well.

Works well; part of a system that can connect a small portable generator to a house generator outlet
Does exactly what it says it does, working as part of a system that let me hook up a our small General iQ2000 portable generator with standard three-prong 5-20R outlets to an external L14-30R generator outlet on our house. Larger generators are easy -- just hook up the generator's L14-30R outlet up to the house's L14-30R outlet with a generator extension cord and you're done -- but the smaller generators need some plug adapting magic. Here's how the connections work: 5-20R three-prong outlet on the Generac iQ2000 -> QuestPro RV Power Adapter 5-20R male to L5-30P adapter -> Conntek 20571 25-foot L5-30 generator extension cord -> AC Connectors ADL530L1430 L5-30P to L14-30R adapter -> L14-30R house external generator outlet. The system won't run our well pump or primary heating systems because the generator only produces 110 volts, but everything else in the house works fine on the little iQ2000. (Note: we do have efficient appliances, an OLED TV, and all-LED lighting, so that helps keep the electric loads down).

Heavy Duty L5-30 Cord
Its an extension cord, so not much to say. A very heavy extension cord, It is heavy! It put the 'Heavy' in Heavy Duty. It is 10 gauge wire, 3 wires a hot, neutral and a ground, or referred as a 10/3. The overall wire is about same size of a garden hose, so wrapping it up feels more like wrapping up a garden hose full of water, than an extension cord. We had a transfer switch installed to run the well pump during periods of no power from a generator. I love how I can keep the generator in the back yard behind a fence and run a cord to the pump, about 45 feet away, so generator is safe behind a fence, makes it harder to steal the generator when I'm in the shower. This is a 3 prong L5-30 ends rated at 120 volts. This will not run 240 volts as that has a different plug.

Good buy
By visual and feel it’s good quality product, I bought it for emergencies generator so I must say haven’t used much but I trust it will do it job when I need. Good choice

Good value for the money.
Easy to use and does the job, good value for the money. It's a thermoplastic type jacket so it looses its flexibility at low temperature but this is a small cable so it isn't so bad to handle when it's cold, the cable quickly regains its flexibility when you bring it in to a heated area. I keep mine in my house so if I have to use it when it's -20 it won't be stiff as it would be if stored in an unheated garage.

Great generator 30A extension cord
Exactly what I needed, 3 prong locking connections at both ends. Solid wires to carry the required load from the generator to the transfer switch and panel. Could not find this at any store and am very happy I had it when we had our most recent power failure. A bit pricey, but worth every penny

Good heavy duty cord
I am pleased with this cord. Nothing cheap or sketchy feeling about it. I won’t be able to test the “stays flexible in the cold” claims because I used it indoors in a server rack to power a 30 amp UPS. However, the plug and receptacle feel good quality, and the terminals are heavy duty.

Works great for my Honda inverter generator
I needed this to connect my Honda eu 3000 to my bunkie. Honda uses a marine style nema l5-30 connector that is not common to RV’s. This made it impossible to find locally in stores that carried RV equipment. I’ve only used it a couple of times, we’ll see how it performs in winter, but otherwise seems very high quality.

mon meilleure choix
Je me devais d'obtenir ce câble après avoir fait l'acquisition de ma génératrice afin de la connecter à l'installation effectuée par mon électricien pour le transfer vers la boîte de distribution des circuits de la maison. P.E.D.

Solid construction. Looks good
On initial review, the construction is solid. Not tested yet. The cable is fairly stiff and may be a problem on those winter days, but I would probably keep the cord indoors during the colder months.
