This is the second year I’ve used these. The nicest thing about the app is you don’t have to remember what the levels were the last time you tested the water.

Still prefer liquid testing

Not a fan of strip testing but sometimes it helps giving you some initial information.

A decent backup.

I got this as my primary testing method when moving to a house with a pool. That was a bit of a mistake. While the chlorine measurements were accurate, my batch kept saying the Ph was low…. after a good bit of Ph Up I got the Clorox liquid test and learned that my Ph is actually really high. So get the liquid and validate the accuracy of the strips.

Very simple to use

I use these daily during pool season on my stock tank pool. I love that there is app to use as well.

Sadly disappointed

Heard good things about this and the app so I figured I'd try it. As soon as it arrived, I tried to install the app on my 2yr old phone, and my version of android is too new for it? At least they should still work the manual way. From Clorox: We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused. Our app developers are aware of the problem and are working on an update to resolve the issue you are having. In the past, most issues have been resolved in a matter of weeks or sooner, but at this time we do not have a solid timeframe on when a fix will be applied and it could be mid summer to later this year one is in place.

Easy to use, accurate, and has an app for automatic readouts. The app is only good for pools.

Works fine, kind of expensive no matter where you buy these, but easier than the little vials we used to have use. I use it for my 500 gallon spa, but the app is designed for anything above 1300 gallons. So I just just it manually.

Helps keep my pool crystal clear

To be honest, I'm no pool pro. I just use the strips along with the color chart that comes with some versions of the strips. I am going into the 3rd season using these for my pool and while I cannot vouch for the accuracy, I can tell you that when the colors are ideal on the strips, my pool is crystal clear. Having a clear pool and water that doesn't irritate you after hours of swimming is good enough for me. Accurate or not by professional standards, it gets my pool where it needs to be and lets me know which chemicals to add. I follow the instructions based on volumes when adding the chemical and I'm good to go. Sometimes, I start feeling lucky and freestyle, just putting a little dash of something here and there like my cooking. LOL I get things out of whack but these strips set me back on track.

Easy to Use with the App

Just dip and scan. App uses your camera to detect the color. Keeps a history record. Allows you to calibrate visually if necessary. Tests full chemistry profile on each strip.

pH is inaccurate

Chlorine and alkalinity are accurate. pH is way out.
