Good test strips
Easy results returned quickly. I prefer these strips over others I have purchased.

useless for Bromine level testing, not great for pH or Total Alkalinity
I was really hoping that these Bromine Aquachek strips would be accurate enough to be used instead of the Taylor test kit assays which require scooping out exact amounts of water, identifying the right bottles and counting out drops, and even do a chemical titration for the Total Alkalinity (something that I hadn't done since taking chemistry in college more than 30 years ago). I tested the spa water first with the Taylor kit fro that I'd have test results for comparison. Dipping the test strips into the water is easy enough. I knew enough from reading everything on the manufacturer's website and lots of user reviews to be not shake water off the strip, to let it rest horizontally, and to take color readings at *exactly* 15 seconds after being wet. Results: The Taylor kit measured the Bromine as 3ppm (which is in the "good" range). The Aquachek Bromine pad almost immediately darkened to the maximum. I should mention that this spa (actually a "mikvah" which is a ritual Jewish immersion pool) uses a fully automatic brominator device to carefully disburse the Bromine at a given rate. The pH was at least 8.2 (which is high) as measured by the Taylor test, so the fact that Aquacheck strip showed a high pH was "accurate". The Taylor kit gave a Total Alkalinity of 90 ppm (which is good) and the color of the Total Alkalinity pad on the Aquacheck strip did seem to correspond to what was measured by the Taylor kit at 15 seconds, but it was a moving target since the color kept changing until the color was at the maximum less than a minute after getting wet. If I didn't know what Total Alkalinity number to expect, I don't know if I would have read it correctly from the test strip. Maybe it would have been a better test to have done the Taylor testing after using the Aquachek strips, but I was also there to check that a person who was new to the Taylor testing was able to do that testing correctly having been shown how to do it once very quickly once by another person. I tried again another test strip. Same results: maximum Bromine reading and pH and Total Alkalinity readings that could be seen as "accurate", but they had huge error ranges due to the fact that the colors keep changing so they needed to be read at a particular instant. Another thing that made the strips hard to use is the way the ranges of the test colors are not uniform so there can be a large difference in reading for a slight change in color right in the range that you think the measurement should be. My overall assessment is that I don't think these strips give accurate enough measurements to be worth using. I had hoped that the strips might be easier to use than the Taylor kit. And at worst, even if they weren't super accurate, that they could be used just to check if the water chemistry was within a reasonable range. I thought that if the test strip readings indicated the need to adjust the water chemistry, then the Taylor kit could be used to get a more accurate reading to determine the amount of chemicals to add to the water. But I didn't feel that the strips were even good enough for a quick test of the pH and Total Alkalinity (since the Bromine reading was way off).

Easy to use
Bought these to test my spa. They seem accurate, and supr easy to read results.

Good test strips for a bromine hot tub
These are pretty good test strips at a good price. I feel like most test strips aren't 100% accurate but its a quick way to test your hot tub. I would recommend looking at the strips in natural light because they are easier to read that way.

Work Great, Expiration date was fine
I saw others had expiration date issues, my order had 14 months remaining, no problem. Other brands I've used (like Leis. Time) had a plastic strip with small little squares (also plastic?) and the dye seemed to run and smear... hard to read and the color tints didn't really match the chart. These strips have fat little squares, the colors read true, didn't bleed or run, and these were more sensitive to the Bromine levels where other strip read a bit lower ( 300 gallon hot tub). The pH square read more accurately ( the tint was closer to the orange colors on the chart). I've recommended to others. this is now my preferred brand.

the colour match indicating bromine levels was poor and I struggled to get the right balance
I have tried other test strips for my hot tub in which I use bromine as a sanitiser. With the other strips, the colour match indicating bromine levels was poor and I struggled to get the right balance. With AquaCheck I have been able to get accurate results such that I now have sparkly clear water and not the green tinge as before. If I test now with the other strips it tells me that my bromine levels are way too high. It is a little more expensive than other strips but well worth the extra as i now only test once a day and not two or three times as the bromine level indicated varied so much.

Aquachek Test Strips
Very happy with this purchase, exactly what we wanted and shows the hardness of the water, as well as the other tests, which our previous strips didn't. I will be buying more from this seller again soon.

Don't bother buying these.
No good at all, the colours on the chart have no relevance to those that show up on the strips.

These work fine. The colours on the test strips are not ...
These work fine. The colours on the test strips are not quite those on the comparison charts, but close enough.
