Very nice rod!

This is a super comfortable and affordable rod to get you out of the cheap combos you find at your local sporting goods stores or gas stations. This rod seems to be noodlie through the first 3 eyelets and then the backbone kicks in and it feels great. The color of the rod is very appealing, the enlarged eye-loops (an upgrade over the meat stick) are nice to help keep them from freezing up and the thing is very durable. I don't really have anything bad to say about the rod just a few things I would like to see options on or changed in the design. If possible i would love to see this with a full grip rather then a split grip like it currently has. Also, the rod looks like it should be a glow in the dark rod but it isn't which is too bad cause that would be a great feature for fishing in low light situations. Lastly, it would be nice if they could just brightly color the tip of the rod rather then having the pattern they currently have. The pattern on the tip makes my eyes kind of trip out and I believe a solid orange or green would stand out better for detecting light bites.

Best rod ever

I have both the 28 and 36 and the 18 meat stick. These dead meats are stiff but so sensitive you can see the bite in 15-20 mile an hour winds. I will never own any other rod.

Great well rounded rod at a great price

This is quite the nice rod at a better price. I own many $100 plus rods (tucr, haat rods, and elliot rods) and this rod is actually used quite a bit. I love the super sensitive tip that transitions into a fairly stiff backbone for control. I feel this rod is well rounded for catching panfish to bass and walleye. The price is/was great whenever I purchased it and I am very satisfied. I would recommend.

Large eyelets.

Great rod! Better than previous version. I love the large eyelets, especially the very first eyelet which no longer cause water freezing like the older models.

Excellent ice fishing pole. Used it all winter on walleyes and panfish. Ended up buying a couple of them.

Crooked eyelet

The second to last eyelet isn't centered like the rest. Not the end of the world but it appears quality control is lacking because I've seen this issue in other reviews

Great rod

Great rod. Good solid backbone with a light tip. Love the fact I dont need a spring bobber to see light bites.

Worth every penny

Won't ever go back to a normal rod for perch fishing anymore. The noodle tip can detect the tiniest of bites before you feel them and the rest of the rod has the has lots of backbone to handle the fight up to the hole. Has totally changed my perch game.

Not inline

Nice rod , loads up really nice with good backbone, super crazy lite too. Only thing is the end does not even come close to being inline with the reat of the eyelets.
