Good lock

Very well made and easy to use. The size is good, but I could have used about another foot. I like to go through both the frame and the front wheel, and this lock is perfect for that, but could use about another foot to make it easier. The mount is easy to use and works well, but I use a little velcro strap just to keep things snug so it doesn't rub against my leg.

don't think my bike will disappear

Seems sturdy, like that you can reset the combination. Setting it was easy.. Have not used it just played around with it. Other than the normal , UUUGH it spirals and such a pain to work with, it seems good. Will see how long the mount lasts (kind of cheap plastic)

just as good as every other lock on here.

Strong lock, very happy with my buy. Its not a steel bar, its a wire and yes they can break it. It a type of lock that should be used to go in and out of a store. Do not leave your bike out side over night with this lock on and dont leave it out when you go to the gym. very common ways to get your bike stolen, it could happen even with a lock that has a steel bar.

Not holding up the best, but still works

My daughter has been using it and one of the numbers is now not clicking into place, it just loosely spins around. She can still open it though. Also the plastic piece that connects to the bike, there is a plastic piece keeps popping off.

It's a lock, it works.

It locks your bike with a custom code of your choosing. Enough to deter thieves. I'm sure you could cut it or break it but then a thief can steal anything if determined enough.

easy to set, easy to use

The combination was easy to set. And the linear numbers made it easy for a kid to use. We haven't attached the "anchor" to the seat rod yet, but it looks like a good idea (unnecessary though.)

Terrible quality, terrible lock

I purchased the lock used it twice and now there's a significant gap between where the vinyl coating over the cable ends and the plastic cover of the lock itself. This exposes the cable to anyone with wire cutters or freon, and worse the cable is fraying there and becoming dangerous with loose pieces of cable ready to poke, puncture, cut, slice. Waste of money.

Für den Preis schon Ok!

Also ich will hier nicht zu negativ urteilen, im Grunde können fast alle Fahrradschlösser mit einem Bolzenschneider geknackt werden, man hat als Besitzers eines Bikes halt nur die Chance, seinen Drahtesel an durch von "Guten" verhassten, Cam-überwachten Plätzen zu parken, oder halt überall mit in die Gebäude zu nehmen. Das Schloss hier (ich habe die Schlüssel-Version, nicht das mit den Zahlen, Zahlenschlösser kann jeder mit gutem Gehör öffnen) macht einen recht stabilen Eindruck, also ein Sponti-Dieb wird es nicht knacken können, oder der Widerling hat einen echt stabilen Seitenschneider-Prügel bei sich. Die Halterung für das Schloss ist top, konnte es einfach mit einem Kreuzschlitz ans Bike anbringen, also zu diesem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hier kann ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben!

Für ein Kinderfahrrad ok, ein Schutz vor Gelgenheitsdieben. Für einen wirksamen Schutz sollte man aber mehr ausgeben

Dass man für den Preis keine Hochsicherheits ABUS Qualität erwarten darf, war mir auch vor dem Kauf klar. Bestellt habe ich das Schloss auch für ein Kinderfahrrad, als Diebstahlschutz am Kindergarten und dafür ist es auch brauchbar. Gut ist, dass eine Rahmenhalterung im Lieferumfang ist und so dass Schloss problemlos am Fahrrad verstaut werden kann. Die Halterung ist vom Durchmesser her für Sattelstützen oder Rahmenrohre (nicht den Hinterbau) gemacht. Allerdings ist die qualitative Anmutung doch sehr billig. Die Zahlenverstellung hakt trotz Ölung bereits nach kurzer Zeit und das eigentliche Spiralkabel ist so dünn, dass es problemlos mit ner Kneifzange zu durchtrennen wäre. Als wirklicher Schutz vor Diebstahl auf öffentlichem Grund ist es eher weniger geeignet. Da sollte man doch ein wenig mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen, wenn einem der eigene Drahtesel lieb und teuer ist. Außerdem stinkt das Schloss beim Auspacken dermaßen, dass es zum Ausdünsten direkt vor die Tür verbannt wurde. Positiv ist, dass die Zahlenräder groß genug sind, dass sie auch von Kindern bedient werden können und gut ablesbar sind. Auch ist eine eigene Kombination problemlos einstellbar und die Anleitung hierfür ausreichend. Fazit: Das M-Wave schreckt allenfalls Gelegenheitsdiebe ab. Selbst für den günstigen Preis, hätte aber zumindest der extrem penetrante Geruch nicht sein müssen und die qualitative Anmutung ein wenig besser sein können. Bei Kinderfahrrädern oder Fahrrädern, deren Zeitwert dem Metallpreis entspricht, erfüllt es seinen Zweck und das für wenig Geld. Daher noch 3 Sterne. Mal sehen wie lange es hält.

Schloss plötzlich nicht mehr zu öffnen...

Habe das Schloss 1 Jahr lang gelegentlich genutzt und es hat mir soweit gute Dienste erwiesen. Problematisch war schon von Beginn an, dass die Zahlenringe sehr leichtgängig sind und sich auch mal "von selbst", d.h. durch kleine Erschütterungen, verstellen. Nun wollte ich heute das Schloss öffnen und es hat sich - so vermute ich - während dem Öffnen die Zahlenkombination zum Öffnen verändert (die man durch einen Hebel im Inneren ja selbst vorgeben kann). Das Schloss klemmte also, ließ sich unter der ursprünglichen Zahlenkombination nicht mehr öffnen und ich vergeudete 1 h damit, alle Zahlenkombinationen bis 999 durchzutesten. Danach besorgte ich mir einen Bolzenschneider und öffnete das Schloss gewaltsam - Fazit: nie wieder!!!

Preisleistungsverhältnis gut

Das Zahlenschloß ist eine feine Sache, auch eine sehr gute Möglichkeit seine Zahlenkombination ändern zu können, jedoch für die Kinder gefährlich sie können Zahlenänderungen selbst vornehmen und das nicht richtig machen wie es bei meinen passiert ist, wir haben das Zahlenschloß nicht mehr ganz zu bekommen weil die letzte Ziffer nicht mehr stimmte nach paar Minuten habe ich die Kombination rausbekommen und ihnen das Zahlenschloß wieder richtig eingerichtet, richtig ärgerlich wird es erst dann wie in anderen Rezesionen beschrieben, wenn man das Schloß aufsägen muss, weil man es nicht mehr auf bekommt, aber wie gesagt bei allen Dingen gibt es pro und Contra. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier und es ist auch praktisch kein lästigen Schlüssel dabei haben zu müssen und nur der eine Punktabzug eben wie beschrieben, aber ansonsten alles im Grünen.

Buena relación calidad precio ideal para sitios semi seguros

Un candado útil para atar la bicicleta en lugares semi seguros. Lo usamos para atar las bicicletas de los niños en los parquings de bicis de dentro de la escuela. Un sitio que en principio es seguro y por lo tanto no necestiamos más que un candado disuasorio. El candado viene acomàñado de un anclage para que puedas transportar el candado colgando en la bici sin problemas. El candado és muy rígido y no te colgarà mientras lo transportes ya que se encoge en forma ciruclar tal y como se ve en la foto. El tema de que sea un candado con contrasenya va muy bien para los niños ya que evitas que pierdan llaves del candado, eso si, mejor que un adulto sepa la contraseña por si ellos se olvidan.
