Easy to Install!
I bought these nocking points for my new Samick Sage-2 recurve bow, and I have to say, having nocking points on your string is a must, if you actually want your arrows to come even close to hitting their spot. I am new to archery, so I wasn’t really sure how these worked, as far as installation was concerned. I went to a sporting goods store and range and they put the first one on for me. It was clear that it was not necessary to use the special crimping pliers to install the nocking points. These nocking points are made of soft brass and were easily put on with regular needle nose pliers, of course having proper tools is always preferable, but I don't personally see the need to waste money on them. In putting the nocking points on, the expert started with using a square to make it perpendicular from the arrow rest to the string, but was having a hard time with it (she just decided it was easier for her to "eye" it), then decided to just eye it with an arrow and mark the spot with a pen. The nocking point went on very easily and so far, has not slipped out of place. These nocking points are a great product for a great price.

Easy on, stays on!
This is my second batch of these great nocking points. I've got a new bow coming soon. Can't wait to put these on. I found the best way to find the perfect nock point (for those who might not know how). String the bow. Take a framing square and line the edge up against the string. Mark the point on your string 3/8-1/2 inch above the arrow rest with a piece of loosely knotted string. Put the arrow on the string hold the framing square in line with the string. The arrow should be square between the rest and bow string. Slide the string knot up and down until it's perfect square all round. Shoot the bow a few times to make sure the arrow flies to suit you. Put the brass Knock Point where you've made your temporary string knot. You can use the special knock pliers to tighten it down, or wire crimpers like I do. Just don't mash it flat to where the ends don't meet, or your asking for a cut finger. This will keep you from wasting two or three nocks trying to find the sweet spot. Hope this helps.

Well crafted and easy to install.
These are very important if you would like to shoot with consistent accuracy. I installed them on two of my recurve bows very easily. You don't need nocking pliers to get them on, but it can't hurt to set up your bow with the right tools. This is especially true when this minor detail can affect accuracy to the finest degree. I highly suggest not clamping them all the way down at first. Secure it to the string so that it can be adjusted first. Then fire off a few arrows to see how they are flying. If you are getting the desired response, then secure them tightly to the bow string. Everybody likes their bows adjusted differently, but another suggestion would be to secure another above where the arrow rests to increase consistency for tighter groupings. These are well crafted and have lasted me just as long as the bow string life.

does what its supposed to.
they dont fit ALL of my bowstrings to the point of encircling them entirely, but many of mine are homemade, natural string so thats to be expected. even though they didnt fit totally around, and i installed them with just regular pliers, they hold great and have yet to give me any trouble.

Easy to install
The headline says it all. I mean, how much can you write about a bowstring nock? These are stout and well--made, easy to install.

They do the job
If you know what these are for, then they'll do the job. As good as any others I've seen and at a good price. 5 should last you a long time, unless you have a big family that's into archery.
