works well, kinda dinky though
works well but not much of a base width. Dont bump into your bow, it does not take much to knock it over with this base

I leave it on my bow when shooting
I bought my second one recently after the first broke around the hinge pin. I had used it for a couple years when target practicing and it doesn't leave my bow until I put it in the case. I feel like something like this should have evolved into modern compound-bow design by now. Anyway, I'm not into competitive archery and am no expert, but I can hammer the yellow of a target from 25 yards, and if this has any effect on a bow when attached, I am unaware of it. And I don't want to sound like I'm careless with my bow. I'm pretty fussy with how I put it down. You do need flat/level (but not necessarily smooth) ground. Soft, dry, dirt, mulch, grass, etc., seems friendly enough. But then, I have a $300 bow, not a $1300 one.

Does not work for Mathews V3 31
The bow stand itself feels sturdy and if it worked with my bow I would be quite happy with it and for that I give it 4 stars. The only reason it isn't 5 is unfortunately the angle doesn't work well for the Mathews V3. It wants to rock backwards because the legs are too long. To clarify, I ordered the wide limb bow version (TG393BR) thinking the other reviewers here with v3 and v3x bows likely ordered the wrong version since it wasn't specified in any of them. It fits the limbs fine, the legs are just too long. I considered cutting the legs to shorten them, but the trusses make that a less than ideal option. I rarely review things, but I wanted to make sure anyone with one of the aforementioned bows had a detailed response so that they don't make the same mistake.

Worth every penny
I picked this up as this season I did a good amount of platform blind hunting. Not being able to drill my holder into the ground and not wanting anything hanging, I thought I'd try this. I absolutely love it. Quiet and simple. I took 2 deer out of my blinds this season and shot both with the stand still attached to my bow. Having practiced in my yard with it during the off season I found its easier to just shoot with it on, rather than risk making noise taking it off and stowing it for the shot. I highly recommend if you're in a situation like mine.

Rubber ripped first use!
Sorry to say but that red surrounding rubber ripped the first time I used it. The rubber is loose around the housing so it immediately tares… pour quality!

Could be better. Maybe just not right for my bow?
I bought this for a Prime One I had that's too long for any reasonably-priced cases (maybe 38-inch ATA?) I assumed it would be a simple "clip on and go" operation, but I spent a solid 10 mins trying to find a position to balance it so my bow won't fall over. It must be too top or front-heavy for this particular stand. I removed my stabilizer, but no matter what the whole deal won't stay balanced. Giving 3 stars and keeping it on hand because there's a chance I just need a different solution for this bow. It's by far the longest one I own, so it could just not be meant for this. Then again, some simple rubber footing on the end of the stand might take this product from "good" to "great". I'll try with a smaller bow to see if that's the case. Not a bad product. Just make sure your bow works for it.

Works well
I was expecting it to stand a little taller, but it still works well on my Bear Cruzer G2.

Nice Bow Jack
TRUGLO Bow Jack, Black I purchased this Bow Jack for my husbands Bow which he owns the The Pro-line speed stick, it is a solid limb design and about 20 years old however he takes good care of it and its heavy loaded with all the extras which the stand is harder for it to stay sitting up. This Bow Jack does clasp very nice and secure to his Bow as shown in photos. My husband is keeping it as he feels putting the end tips in the ground will help with holding his Bow up. This would be great for newer Bows and the bottom curve of the Bows are now made different. The TRUGLO Bow Jack Black would be fine for other Bows, I would recommend this Bow stand to others looking for standing your Bow as in most it will hold your Bow in place and it does have a good grip and fits around my husbands bow just fine. I am now turning my review over to my husband as he knows more about Bows than I doing being a wife that hunts but not with a Bow! The Truglo Bow Jack Folding Bow Stand for my Bow since I hunt from a ground bling alto. The unit is high quality and seems very well made which you wold expect from Truglo. It is very easy to put on your bow and clamps securely without damaging the finish on your bow. It is just as easy to remove, all using one hand. It will stay in the open position (due to the location and design of the spring) until you place it on your bow. It will then stay clamped to your bow (due to the spring design again) until you remove it. The unit is very sturdy and should last many years with no problems. It does seem to have trouble holding older, heavier bows due to the bow design itself and not the "Bow Jack" design. I would recommend the Truglo Bow Jack to anyone. I hope my review has answered some questions along with my photos, if so please click yes, Thank you!

Well built but a bit short.
By far the best built bow jack I’ve come across. This unit has the protective rubber built into the jack to protect your limbs from scratching. The fit was nice and snug. The only issue I had was that it is a bit short in comparison to other jacks on the market and I found that with an attached quiver that my arrow nocs were in the dirt.

Excellent!
Wish I'd have ordered it sooner! Fits great on my pse. Too tall for wife's Hoyt. Ordered mini wide version for her. Used mine all day and absolutely loved it!

Fantastic.
I bought this stand for use with my Diamond Edge SB-1 which has narrower arms than most other bows I've seen and the stand works great. The stand is knotched to hold larger arms as well. Super durable plastic with some protective/grippy rubber where the stand contacts the bow. It's exactly what I wanted.
