Worth the money
I purchased this power cord to use with my new generator. I needed a NEMA (round) extension cord with four 120 volt outlets on the end. I will only be using 120 volt appliances (refrigerator, TV, lights, etc.) with this extension cord. It's well worth the money. It's well packed and tightly rolled in a 10-12" coil. It's VERY heavy duty, four gage stranded wire. So it's fairly easy to bend/straighten out, but tends to "coil" back up to the 12" coil size. I wanted a 36" coil size for hanging. So, I put it in the sun with a sand bag on one end, unrolled it, put a sand bag on the other end and let it sit in the sun for a few hours. I then rolled it into a 36" coil and it stayed that way. Something you might be interested in............ When my generator power was set at 120 volts, only one set of the sockets (red) worked. I thought the cord was defective and exchanged it - only to find out the second cord did the same thing. So, I called the generator manufacturer and described the problem. To my surprise (and not mentioned in the operator's manual) the power must be set on 240 Volts to make all four (red & blue dot) sockets work. Switching the power to 240 volts allows 120 volt power to both (red & blue dot) sides of the cord. So, I switched the power to 240 volts, started the generator and flipped the breaker switch to the "on" position. All four of the sockets worked perfectly with 120 volt appliances. A spark chaser (electrician) would know that and is probably laughing right now if reading this review. However, I am not a spark chaser and thought it might be helpful......

Great to Have when the occasional hurricane come through
When hurricane IKE came through and took out power for over a week, power cords and generators were in demand and couldn't be found anywhere. This power cord allows me to connect a number of items including our fridge, portable a/c, TV, Radio and a couple of lights (I've tried it out and it works great). It's well made and a good price when compared to what I have found elsewhere. Delivery was quick with no surprises. This item coupled with the generator will make our next surprise visit more comfortable. Check your generator or power source for this type of locking plug since there are two types (three and four prong). It is probably 5 stars, but not until I've ran it for a fews days and checked it out under less than ideal conditions.

It's a power cord!
I purchased this generator power cord after Hurricane Irene caused a tree to fall over and knock out power on my street. No power....much rain adds up to a basement sump pump not working which added up to 8 hours of sump pit bailing up and down the stairs for my wife and me. Bought a generator which I hope to never have to use and this cord is one of the accesorries. I have tested the gen. and this cord. Seems to work fine. Very heavy duty yet the wire is nice and flexible and brightly colored. Should do the job if needed. Looks well made and sturdy. Shipped on time. No complaints.

A very well thought out extension cord for my generator.
This 25 foot 220VT AC cord has 4, 110 VT AC grounded sockets at one end, with a 4 prong twist-lock plug for your generator. You can balance the load on your generator by splitting the devices you want to power between the 4 socket positions. Be sure to correctly ground your generator to provide protection at each of the 4 sockets.

Hard ti find item after Hurricane Sandy.
Searched all over the area in retail stores to find this but found it easily here. Thankfull I have not had a need to use it, as it is for emergency back up only.

Conntek 20611 25' generator power cord.
Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Used it during a brief power outage yesterday (7/17/2016), and it performed perfectly with three extension cords and one surge protector plugged into it.
