Great de-cocking bolt

This is a nice alternative to having to discharge a bolt into a bag. It works for crossbows with longer bolts. Most discharge bolts are too short for a Mission sniper light crossbow but this one was perfect. Just shoot it in the ground and retrieve it.

Does it's job as intended

Bought this decocking bolt despite the questionable reviews and have used it a handful of times the last week out of my Barnett 350. I have zero complaints! Works as it should, the tip is very solid and heavy metal. ZERO ISSUES! I shoot at an angle toward the ground approximately 10-15 feet in front of me, the tip design causes the bolt to not penetrate the ground even in a softer area. Very well made and beats carrying a cube to unload.

flange broke

half the flange tip broke when it hit a rock in the ground. The rest of it broke a few weeks later hitting another rock. Tip is still ok. goes much deeper into the ground now.

Good product

The smartest thing to do is shoot into ground from your stand ( unless ur in a blind, duh) My crossbow is 330+ and this hasn’t cracked or broken yet (15 shots probably). Its worth it.

This decocking bolt is well built. That's good because all the guys that hunt on my place use it when they get back to the barn.

It worked.

It did it’s job as to be shot out of the cross bow. However the first shot broke a piece off then the second shot broke the rest of the stopper off. Now it is just an arrow.

Breaks easily

Used it 8 to 10 times, tip has busted into pieces. Only shooting in grass with top soil. Not very well made.
