they are best 14" bolts i can find
if you need the small 14" bolts these are the ones. Im giving 3 stars because what other people have said is correct, you need to know how to repair nocks and inserts. i might also try cutting down some carbon bolts to this size, but that changes the price bracket entirely. the nocks and inserts were glued in with crappy brittle glue. that being said, i've tried 3 different packs of similar sized bolts from amazon and if i were to judge them by the 4 basic parts of a bolt (shaft, insert, nock, vanes)Id say these shafts have held up way longer than any others and so far i have no issues with vanes coming off. of the 5 bolts in the first pack, i repaired 4 inserts and 3 nocks right out of the box. since then i havent had a single issue and these are the 5 best, most consistent, bolts i shoot from my little no name brand 150lbs xbow. as long as this xbow is functional i will be shooting these bolts... and once i destroy the rest of the old bolts (usually from bending on impact) i will replace them with these and eventually only own these (14") bolts

They are good in the respect that the insert in the shaft for the insert for tip of the bolt is metal , .... but ...... the glue for the various parts of the bolt to hold it together are either very little and not done right or simply not there.... the inserts for the tips fall out or come loose very easily , the nok or string niche falls out or comes loose very easily, and on two out of the five of every pack of bolts the plastic feather/fin comes of while in a quiver during a 1/2 mile walk..... but i am not returning them because i can fix them fairly easy... but i am letting people know this because not everybody knows how to properly fix arrows/bolts that come apart from inferior glue and/or workmanship... so if you know how to fix them it is a good buy ...but if you do not know how to fix them then do not buy them for it would be wasting your time and money.

Cheap (Inexpensive and medium quality)
These were priced right but they are not something you want to use more than just some target practice. They are very light and bend easy and the inserts and nocks fall out. I use with a 150lb crossbow (old style Barnett Wildcat - original) and they can be shot into a good foam target about a dozen times if you are lucky. Be very care when removing...they bend easy. I suppose the worst part is the nocks keep falling out...cheap plastic nocks and glue wont hold. Besides that they are half moons and I really need flat. Oh well, only using for target practice anyway.

I'm not a pro hunter I'd imagine if I shot a turkey with these out of my 150 lb with a broad head it would work. I haven't had to super glue anything the stock heads hold tight, in fact I've shot a palm tree at max velocity range x 5 and the tip didn't budge and the body didn't bend, in fast a few of the times I had to brace my feet against the tree to wedge it out. I've shot these things through several layers of full phone books... If your are going to complain...it's really kind of easy....don't be cheap and then gripe about it LOL buy a pro hunting brand.

Add on some super glue
Okay, I know you get what you pay for. After a lot of work, these are shootable, if that's an actual word. The heads and nocks come right out with no effort straight out of the box. A nice box. The "feathers" look like they were glued on with hot glue by a 5 year old. Two of the flights came off while I was attempting to glue the ends on. I might use these for target practice but I am pretty sure they are a one time use per bolt kind of deal.

Of all the crossbow arrows i have on hand these are the best and i've read all of the reviews so far and i don't get it. What did all of you nay sayers think, that you were going to get the holy grail of arrows? No arrow will go through a hay, pine needle bale without the feathers falling off! The tips on my on arrows have never came off and i've purchased 50 of these arrows since november, 40 since march and plan on getting more. For the money my best buy!

no quality control
these bolts must be manufactured by a company that has no consideration for the safety of its customers. the tip inserts and the nocs were falling out of the shafts right out of the box. a mis-nocked crossbow bolt is a disaster waiting to happen, in the blink of an eye. it can injure someone, or worse. the nocs on these bolts are not even safe for a low powered pistol grip crossbow. i seriously believe this company has no buisnes producing any kind of archery products. its only a matter of time before this company is sued. you have been warned, do not buy these bolts.

14 Inch Bolts
I gave it 5 stars because how quick MTech got my order to me. The arrows themselves are good but not the most durable. For example, after 3 or 4 shots the fletchings come off. The tips will also come off and get imbedded if you are shooting into a hay bale . For the price though you can't beat them.
