This Thing is Great!

What a wonderful piece of workout/movement apparatus! There are endless workouts to be found, for free, online, on YouTube, etc from multiple sources. It's super easy to find one that works for you no matter your fitness level. As an older gal, I'm very interested in working on balance and you can't find a better, more usable, on a daily basis, item then this! In addition to the balance component, there are so many different ways to work on your core, do planks, push ups, lift the Bosu to work arms and shoulders and so much more. Also, simply, having to get up and down off of the floor to use it, is a thing unto itself. Especially as we get older, being able to get off the floor is a measure of your fitness and can predict your longevity. I love that I could get one that was a nice, neutral color, grey. I'm not fond of the traditional, blue color and it's in my living room so a part of the decor. It inflated right off the bat with ease. Was ready to go and I deliberately sprang for the name brand as this is the type of item that might not wear so well into the future, with use. I'm thinking that Bosu will stand behind the product if there are any issues/problems.

Great exercise tool!

My wife especially likes the Bosu ball as it helps her get up and down and provides the support she needs. It is very helpful in improving balance and it works many more muscles while you are keeping your balance. It has stood the test of time as this is our second one because our daughter "took" our first one!

Almost TEN years old now!

Love this thing! I’ve used it off and on for TEN years. It just recently got a tiny hole on the side and I’m truly crying every workout without this thing! Well worth buying this higher quality one in the long run! Love it!

If you have used a BOSU for years like me, a no name brand will not make you happy.

If you are like me and are debating between a Bosu balance trainer that you have used at the gym for years and aren't going to the gym right now or a no name generic look alike balance trainer because it is cheaper and how can it be that much different, may I save you the work of a return and just really consider purchasing the Bosu Ball. They are very different. There is no comparison. The BOSU wins, hands down. My experience: I have used the BOSU pro balance trainer for a couple years at the gym. My main thing is building balance. Since I am not going to the gym right now, I wanted a balance ball trainer for home. I looked at the price of The Bosu ball and then the price of the no names. Some of the no names are over 1/2 of the price less than the Bosu. Many of them have great reviews. I chose one that around $85. It had great reviews. I received it. Set it up. Tried it out. I said a bad word because right out of the box freshly pumped with air, I could tell the difference just standing on it with my two feet. My feet were curving out with the curve of the ball. I tried letting air out. I tried refilling it. I measured it from the ground up to make sure I was filling correctly. It didn't matter, there was this new found pressure on the ankles, feet and low calves/shins. Standing on the BOSU trainer feels extremely different than the no name one. On the Bosu trainer, my feet don't curve out. When I stand on it, I feel with the BOSU I am able to correct my posture whereas the other one I was fighting to keep my ankles from turning out. The feel of the material is very different on the BOSU trainer vs. the no name. The no name felt very stiff under my feet. The no name felt like it had to be broken in before it could be effective. Kind of like a new pairs of shoes. The BOSU the material is strong and flexible. Feels good on the feet. Picking up the BOSU is easy. It is made to be easily picked up off the floor. The no name one was a struggle to move because you had to find the little metal piece that was about a finger length wide to pick up. The surface size makes a difference. The BOSU pro is over an 1 inch bigger in diameter. I didn't think this would make difference until I tried doing exercises on the no name brand. I couldn't find my grip and there just didn't seem to be enough surface area. All in all, when I received my BOSU trainer today, I took it out of the box. Filled it within minutes. (the no name took me forever. I thought there was a hole or it was broken.) Stood on it. The let out a big sigh of relief and satisfaction. Having used a BOSU ball for the last couple years, I now understand that there is not another balance trainer that would equate to it.

I was worried this would be difficult to inflate based on some of the reviews, but it was very easy! I've used this in my physical therapy office and love having one at home to use.

Amazing customer service!

Purchased as a gift for my daughter (whom runs a boot camp and personal training) so she's familiar with Bosu and this is one of many and stands behind the product and brand. Unfortunately the original Bosu ball delivered had a tear in the valve - Bosu was quick to respond and send a replacement! Thank you Bosu! The only qualm is the sticker tag for the black Bosu ball, but worth the money for the design she's going on. Looking forward to many more Bosu workouts with my daughter!

Open box clearance on Amazon?

Product seems legit, but I can’t help but feel this is an open-box-clearance- grey-market sold at retail pricing type deal. Unboxing experience was equivalent to Facebook marketplace. Product inflated easily but I had to spend $10 to get replacement plugs because one wasn’t included. That said the weight is good and for balance work it’s very sturdy. The Good: - Heavy. Good weight to avoid slipping - Rubber base ring, sticks to workout mats (not hardwood) - Rubber has a satisfying texture and doesn’t smell like a chemical refinery - The base ring is solid The Bad: - Tossed in the box with little care, missing a plug - Terrible “unboxing” experience for a premium product - Double your warranty - only if you leave a positive review. Why not just offer a good warranty? In conclusion, seems like a great product. The purchase experience is severely lacking.

BOSU is a Great Workout Tool

I decided to buy a real BOSU rather than a knock-off because I use it at the gym and it's a great product. There are so many things you can use it for, strengthening, balance, and core training.
