Tough drill bit.

This is a tough drill bit. Long story short, I had a seized bolt in the transmission of my Trailblazer... I tried to use an extractor and the extractor actually snapped leaving a chunk of high-speed steel embedded in the seized bolt. Wonderful, right? Well, after trying various other things, I finally got this drill bit and a Helicoil set. I was amazed at how easily this drill bit tore through everything that was seized (the bolt and chunk of HSS extactor). I wish I bought this drill bit sooner as I wasted a lot more than the price of the bit on other options first...

Went through an exhaust manifold like hot butter - best drill bit I have used!!

Used this bit to drill a hole into an exhaust manifold and after watching some YouTube videos I was concerned with the task at hand. Put this drill bit on my drill got some WD40 and cut slow and sprayed WD40 on it along the way. It did not take this bit more than 1 minute before it cut through that old exhaust manifold. Just bought another on in another size to remove a broken steering dampener. Will not buy anything else for steel aver again!! GREAT BIT saves you tons of labor!!

Very good

I used this drill bit to make about 20 holes on 304 1/16 inches stainless steel. A good bit overall.

Seems to be of high quality

Seems like a great value for the price. I have only used this one twice: to drill a hole in aluminum for a helicoil and to drill a hole in cast iron for a EZ Lok. Very satisfied with quality of drill bit.

Through 1-1/4" transfer case output shaft in 10 seconds!

Drilled 1-1/4" in to my T-case output shaft in 10 seconds! Like it was butter! My only complaint is that I can't use HSS drill bits anymore.. They seem so pathetic now that I've used this Cobalt bit! Rofl! Seriously.. It drills SO MUCH faster than HSS! it's amazing!
