Good value, worked great

I needed to grind the lips off of 36 retaining wall blocks. Bought an additional stone grinder disc. This got the job done in around 30 minutes. At $30 it was a good value for what I needed and arrived quickly.

Very versatile tool compatible with a plethora of attachements

you can complete virtually every job with this tool, the only lost star is for maneuverability because the cord got in the way a few times when working difficult angles. I'm otherwise impressed and pleased with the power and versatility!

Guard on the unit would not spin all the way around.

This is more of an fyi than a post of good or bad. I wanted to use the grinder to cut tile and to do so I would need to hold with my right hand and turn it so I could watch the blade and the line. The guard would not allow that. It does not spin all the way around as it hits the body. It has maybe 270 degree movement. I returned it without ever turning it on.

Lasted 2 Years of Occasional Use

Used this little grinder to run a diamond wheel to cut off nails after a 550 square foot renovation demo, to run a flap disk to cope corners for the baseboard in the same demo, and to run a concrete cup grinder to clean up concrete edges before putting down new LVP flooring. Worked great when it ran, just disappointed that it only lasted two years before it failed to turn on with no prior indications of problems.

Muy buena para trabajos DIY

Esta amoladora no está pensada para uso industrial o uso pesado, sino para trabajos ocasionales. Pero para aquellos que no usamos a diario una amoladora es una opción muy buena, ya que cuenta con la calidad y potencia suficiente. Personalmente considero que el tener una amoladora con agarradera en 3 posiciones es un plus, ya que da mayor rango de agarre para determinados trabajos.

No customer support

It worked great for a couple times, but then the on/off switch wouldn't work. I contacted black and decker twice and they were sending a replacement as it was in the warranty period, two months later and still no more communication from them and useless promises on the phone.

The media could not be loaded. Caja abierta, rota mal empaquetada y el producto no coincide con lo que dice la caja, no tiene la llave para poner o quitar los discos y el disco que incluye el paquete no venía.

4 different ones have all failed within a year.

Really wanted to like this grinder. It's light, fairly small, and well priced. Unfortunately, my 3rd and 4th one just died literally minutes apart. One was 4 months old, the other was new warranty replacement that broke after only 5 minutes. The other two lasted a bit longer, maybe close to a year? All have the same issues, the drive slips (like a slipping clutch) so the wheel stalls even though the motor is still going.
