Irons great but some of the other features can be annoying.

Good: irons great; its well in hand and is balanced; steam is easy to control; temperature control is easy to set (but more in not so good). Not so good: the water reservoir is smoked plastic so it's very hard to see how much water there is in it - also, to put water in, you have to lay it horizontally and there's no easy way even if you can see into the reservoir, to see whether you're about to overfill or not; depending on how clumsy you might be, it's easy to change the temperature setting with an errant thumb. Overall I'm happy with it, but the ancillary design aspects are detracting.

Control switch to touchy.

The iron is quick to heat and steams well, but the control switch is located where I'm always hitting it and changing my setting. Would not buy this item again.

Great iron, terrible selection button placement

This iron presses beautifully; however, the place to select the temperature controls is in the place where you would naturally hold the iron to iron. So I end up changing from the highest to lowest frequently. It would be nice if it had the option to select up and down but it is only up. So when I hit the button accidentally and go from 7-Linen to 1- you have to hit the button 6 more times to get back where you need to be. Love the job it does but it’s very frustrating to use.

Mostly loved it but could use some work

I purchased this iron in February after falling in love with the ones we used at school (which was an older model, but same line). While I like the weight of the iron and feel it gives very nice, crisp presses, and steams well, it's still tricky to not accidentally increase the temperature while using. The control button is extraordinarily sensitive and is positioned where my hand often presses it while I'm holding the handle mid press. I usually sew with AirPods in, but had to stop doing this after melting fabric because I didn't hear the beeps that I changed from poly setting to cotton! Now in June, a mere 4 months into using, I am having issues with the iron turning on. I will plug it in and hear a beep, but the screen is blank. I usually have to plug and unplug a few times before the screen shows the text that says auto off, so I can select options. The latest time I plugged it in, I got this scrambled setting image, which went away when I plugged and unplugged. I now feel unsafe with this iron, despite how much I enjoyed sewing with it, and will have to go back to my old one until I can find a suitable replacement. Really bummed this couldn't last more than 4 months without having issues.

Not Sure

Had the previous model believe #3020, this is the #3030 - Have to admit - it is hotter. For those that don't wrap your hand around the handle, you find yourself changing temperature all the time with your thumb. We bought the Black and Silver version thinking it was retro - Problem Water tank is black so you can't see how much water you have unless you use a flashlight. Also the instructions say to rest on heel to fill and you cannot fill it that way - so much for instructions. May return it, not sure.

Great Inexpensive Iron

I've been using this iron for a few months and it is great! Steam works well, water does not leak and it irons my cotton and linen clothing very easily. Well worth the money!

Temperature control button in the wrong spot on the handle

When I use this iron my finger lays very close to the button on the handle that increases or decreases the temp. It often turns off inadvertently. Very frustrating. If I could I would have returned it, but it is past the 30 day return window.

Best iron I’ve ever owned!!! Highly recommend for purchase.

Each setting’s temperature is perfect, no sticking or burning of my delicate clothing. Steam setting distributors the right amount of steam, removes wrinkles with ease., Easy to fill and empty the water. Weight of the iron is not to light or to heavy.. Love the alarm that reminds you that the iron is still plugged in. Very satisfied customer!!

Modelo anterior mejor

El vapor es menor y en la 2da ocasión que se utilizó la plancha la base se pego a la ropa; la cual está manchada y ya no desliza bien. Ahora con que producto limpio la plancha para evitar marcarla
