No leaks so far
I got these after I bought a cheap dispenser from Walmart which leaked, gave only a drop of shampoo at a time, and fell off the shower wall twice. This soap dispenser is nice looking, and easy to fill. It comes with sticky tape and silicone glue. The instructions say to use the whole tube of glue, and that the tape is only to hold it in place while the glue dries. Well, since I had problems with the Walmart one, I followed the instructions exactly, and used all the glue, and the tape. I also didn't put the dispenser on until two days after I attached it, just to make sure the glue was dry. I used painters blue tape to hold it in place too. My shower surround is cultured marble. Before putting the glue I used alcohol to clean the wall and the dispenser mount. I used the alcohol wipes that are used for medical purposes, and they work great. It cleans off any oily or soap residue and dries fast. I waited for the alcohol to dry completely before applying the glue. There is a diagram on how to apply the glue to the back of the mount. The instructions tell you not to fill it or use it for 24 hours after application. Also, the glue is quite stink when not dry. I used the smell as an indicator of whether the glue was dry or not. The smell has faded almost entirely. I have since filled it and used it for a week! I am quite pleased. It has not leaked at all, and the amount it dispenses is just enough for liquid face soap. For shampoo, I got the two dispensers with the basket, and those work equally great. No leaks and I use two pumps to get the right amount of shampoo (I have shoulder length hair). These work great so far and I am happy with them. The dispensers can be filled while attached or separately, as you can simply slide them up off the mount. The glue did not interfere with the mount at all. UPDATE - October 2008 The dispenser is working as good as new, no problems with it at all. Given the hot conditions we live on the leeward side of Oahu, I am very pleased with this product! It is still firmly attached to the shower wall. I love it.

Long lasting
If you’ll notice 2 are of different shade, they got yellowish through the years (14y)…I recently bought 2 more and had to reposition one of the old ones…believe me it took a lot of force to yank it out….I prefer the individual units against the tandem ones so I can easily remove if I need to deep clean if they get clogged…earlier one of the units won’t dispense I almost returned….I added a little distilled water, turns out the conditioner was uber thick and after several priming, it worked fine! Of all the push dispensers out there I believe this is the best choice…durable, thick plastic, reliable mechanism, good adhesion, sturdy bracket and keeps shower neat!

Great Dispenser
We bought this manual soap dispenser to fill with shampoo and install in our shower. We love it! It saves on space since we no longer have a shampoo bottle on our shower shelf and it looks good against the white tile walls. It's very easy to install, use and refill.

GOT KIDS?
I am a huge fan of getting clutter off of the counters. Yay for better living products! I have owned several of these in our home for over 10 years and they are great. I even made my husband remove them from our old place and re-install them in our new house 8 years ago. Never had any problems with leaks, etc. They are easy to move around too, as your needs change or if it just isn't working in a certain place (don't throw your silicone tube away just yet! You may need it later). And the best part about these is that they are so easy to clean and refill. You don't have to buy any pre-packaged soap in a bag like some brands. You can just fill with whatever you want. Here is my experience with kids: These are BRILLIANT in the bathtub/shower for children who are notoriously wasteful & have a problem with squirting out way too much shampoo or conditioner (like mine do). But for just regular washing your hands at the sink for kids? My older kids are fine (over 7), but the little kids seem to have a hard time being able to reach up high enough to push the dispenser in for soap to come out. Also Better living has EXCELLENT customer service!

Dribbles + Bad Mounting Hardware
How hard can it be to make a soap dispenser that works? Evidently, it's pretty hard. I wanted a soap dispenser for Soft Soap. Those containers that come with the Soft Soap work really well and last forever, but I wanted one that was larger and looked nicer. So I bought one somewhere else. It shot soap about 5 feet or onto the person trying to use it - whichever got hit first. I was determined not to make the same mistake, so I researched soap dispensers on Amazon.com. Based on the reviews, this one didn't shoot soap, gave a fair amount of soap for each squirt, didn't leak, etc. I was excited to order it (as excited as I could be about a soap dispenser). It looks nice. The design is cool. It holds a good amount of soap. It dispenses soap when you press the button. >>>>However, it dribbles after dispensing the soap. Anything under the dispenser will get soap on it. Maybe this isn't a problem in the shower, but it's a big problem in the kitchen (where I have it) and over the bathroom sink.<<<< >>>>Plus the mounting hardware that came with the dispenser is terrible. The amount of pressure it takes to dispense the soap makes the dispenser fall off of the wall. You will need two #6 plaster anchors and two #6 one inch WOOD screws. Regular plaster screws will not work because the head of the screw is rounded. Because of the design of the dispenser, the head of the screw must sit FLAT with the mount.<<<< How hard can it be to make a decent soap dispenser? The folks that make Soft Soap make about 5 million of those cheap dispensers a year, without any problems. Why can't anyone else?

Love it!
Glad they still make these dispensers! I have a threesome on my bathroom wall. Keeps everything in one place! No messy, sloppy bottles sitting on ledges of bathtub. Keeps things very tidy!

Very nice
I have a small bathroom vanity with a large sink in it, I decided to look for a wall mounted soap dispenser to get rid of a soap dispenser sitting on the sink. I am very happy with this unit, it looks nice and works great, it is easy to dispense soap with one hand. I can't speak to the durability, have only had it up for a couple weeks, but so far it has stayed on the wall, and works great.
