It’s the little things…

I use this to store my kitchen sponge on and I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s the perfect size for an average kitchen sponge. It allows the water to run into my sink and not pool in the container. I was constantly having to wash my previous container out, but this one solves that problem. My only complaint is that one suction cup sticks very well while the other one doesn’t stick almost at all. The one working one holds it in place but sometimes the other side shifts around a little bit. I also wish they had other colors to choose from. I chose the gray, but I would’ve liked other options

Why did it take someone this long to design an almost perfect soap dish?

First off, I thought that this was going to look rather clunky and gimmicky on my bathroom sink, but it actually looks quite classy and trendy. As for its functionality, it does what it says it does. Keeps my soap free from sitting in a puddle of soapy water and drains excess water right into the sink. The raised sides also keep the soap from sliding off. The little raised fins at the front also keep the soap from sliding down into the sink. The riser fins are also simple to clean. I just use the tip of my finger to clear away any soap that builds up between them. Yes, you will have some soap adhere to the spots where it contacts the fins, but that's unavoidable with surface that is in direct contact with a bar of soap that is repeated used. Plus its simple to clean. My only complaint is with the tiny suction legs. They are definitely non-obtrusive and are not obvious at all, but one of them always eventually looses suction. When that happens, the tray does shift slightly when it's bounced and in order to regain suction, I have to remove the tray from the sink, dry off the spot and press the suction cup legs down again. Definitely not a deal breaker though, because other than that, I no longer have to worry about soapy scum water build up under the soap. Planning to buy more of these for all the bathrooms in the house. It can also be used for holding sponges too, like the ones used for scrubbing pots and pans at the kitchen sink.

Nice looking soap dish w/ 90 degrees over edge lip, Secured in-place w/ 2 suction cups @ the bottom.

Ordered these to use at the bathroom shower niche. I was using a silcone soap dish at the shower niche but was getting stains on the tiles and grout lines from soap residue. The Trickle soap dish/tray had the 90 degrees lip the flowed over the edge of the shower niche, therefore directing the soapy water away from the edge and running down the tiles and grout lines. I have noticed less soap residue on the tiles and grout lines. The suction cup at the bottom didnt work well on the shower niche because the tiles has a somewhat matte finish, but I've tried the soap tray on the tub surface, vanity sink and kitchen sink and did notice the soap tray suction cups worked more effectively since the surface are polished, glossy and smooth. Nice quality soap dish for the price I paid $7.00.

The purpose

I love the product as it serves the intended purpose. The look and feel is also nice and it drains. My only dislike was that the left suction did not stick on the kitchen counter. I gave it a 4, only for the suction but its perfect otherwise. I love it.

Does it's job!

Would give 5* but it has a lip on both sides of the 'spout' that I did not realize was as tall as the sides and back. It did not fit under the keeper bar on my glass shower shelves. Could use stronger (or maybe 1 more in the middle) suction cups. Otherwise it is a great design and my glass shelves are no longer covered in soap goo.

Saves soap, great for handmade soaps

I've been using homemade soaps and they just dissolve away if they sit in water. This lets them sit above the water and the water drains away from under them. They last so much longer. The small suction cups on the bottom do a great job of keeping the soap dish from slipping around on the sink edge. It cleans up super easily with a sponge or it can go through the dishwasher on the top rack. I've stopped using liquid soap in the bathrooms thanks to this product.

Just what I needed.

Just what I needed. I have a High faucet on my Stainless Steel kitchen sink. I constantly had puddles of water under the handle from turning it off with wet hands. This fit exactly under the handle and now the drips gather in the tray then drain into the sink. Color matches the Stainless Steel. Little suction feet keep it in place.

Handy way to keep your soap bar dry in the shower and prevent it from falling on the floor.

I already owned one of these but had knocked it off once or twice and broke a corner. When I saw these as part of the add-on program, I jumped on it. These are handy, in our shower, we have a simple surround with built in soap "trays" with the grooves to allow water to escape from under the bar, but they don't have a lip on them, so when shower water knocks the soap down, or simple "sliding" occurs. These have a small upturned lip on the front to prevent the soap from sliding off the front. Water still drains from under the soap via the built in channels. There are 2 little suction cups that hold it on the ledge, and at the same time, provide a slight tilt forward to ensure that the water drains off. 4 stars simply because it would be better if the material was a softer or more pliable compound that didn't break if dropped. This is a very hard, smooth plastic, that will crack or break sometimes if dropped just right. Perhaps the material choice is to prevent build up, as you can easily soak this to remove any soap residue. I should have ordered more at this price, and kept them on hand. Very clever and handy idea.

Good drip tray but...

Good strong suction, feels sturdy and serves its purpose but be mindful of the edge of the sink that it will be hanging over. Since it is a rectangular tray on our round bathroom sink that is slightly raised from our counter it will likely find a new home somewhere in our house as I would like to find something that curves and sits flush with our sink.
