Where has this been all my life?
This is a lifesaver! Our spare bathroom tub has limited ledge space and the shampoo and conditioner bottles kept falling over. I read the reviews on the Ulti-Mate 4 chamber dispenser and decided to give it a shot. I did take a recommendation from a review to use the Command Bath Large Refill strips instead of the silicone. I used the Command strips and waited 24 hrs before adding the dispenser bottles. Please Note: Make sure you read the instructions concerning priming the dispenser bottles. I primed and made sure all the liquids dispensed properly and then added them to the wall unit. This unit doesn't disappoint. I did not add the attachment because I currently do not need it. There is nothing on the tub ledge and no messy bottles. It is clean and also manages the liquids. I am seriously considering getting one for our Master Shower. I would need 5 dispensers but this is not huge deal. I do love how organized the shower is plus makes it easy to clean. The unit has stayed firmly attached with all 4 dispensers filled. Well worth every penny.

Finally got it to dispense conditioner
Not sure if conditioner is too thick or what. I must have pushed the button 100 times. Shampoo and bodywash worked eventually. The temperary installation works fine. Update: I think I had to use some of it for it to work. I got some from the opening every time I used it. Now it works. Weird.

Great if you like white and don't need the bar soap tray & hooks
We bought ours a few years ago. I really like the product as a whole, but wish it were offered in black so I could keep using it with our new shower. We followed the adhesion instructions and it has led up well, to my pleasant surprise. However, the little attachment that holds the soap and my loofah has been knocked off and fallen so many times that it finally broke, so now I've got nowhere to put the soap (the top shelf is pretty useless; I find that setting anything up there results in a slimy film all over the dispenser that I then have to clean). Nonetheless, it is far superior to having 4 bottles sitting on my shower floor.

NO tools or silicone to mount it. Lower Soap Dish DETACHES for a less cluttered look
Let’s face it - the “traditional” wire shower caddy looks junky, at best. Most of them rust or discolor after a while, the bigger shampoo bottles never really seem to fit well in them, smaller items like razors can fall through the bars, and so on… After remodeling my bathroom, I looked at scores of shower caddies - some plastic, some (“rust-free”) aluminum, and even some wooden ones. Prices were all over the map, with a few of them approaching the hundred Dollar mark! But none of them really fit the clean, elegant, uncluttered motif of my newly remodeled bathroom. I happened upon the Better Living series of dispensers here on Amazon, and saw this as the most promising option. But, I didn’t want to have to permanently attach a dispenser (with silicone) to the beautiful new tile in my shower. What if I didn’t like the dispenser? What if it broke and needed replacement after a month? Permanently affixing this to the wall was just a bridge too far for me. This particular model from Better Living features a hook, that goes over the shower arm, to support the weight of the dispenser, and 4 large SUCTION CUPS, which attach to the back of the unit, and keep it from swaying or sliding during use. It’s rock solid, when installed, and there is no silicone, drilling or even double-sided tape needed to hang it. No tools required, period! I really like that about this dispenser. It mounts in just a few minutes. I wasn’t nuts about the soap dish / washcloth rack thing that hung below the dispenser nozzles, but this appeared to be the only unit that had a non-permanent mount, so I bought it anyway. I figured maybe I could use a saw and carefully cut that part off. Aside from the liquids (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), the only other thing I needed to store in the shower was my razor. I could tell from the pictures that the little “shelf” thing molded into the top of the unit had plenty of space to lay my razor. When I unboxed the dispenser, I was THRILLED to see that the lower bit with the soap dish, etc. is an option - it’s not a part of the dispenser itself, and you can choose to leave it off, when you install the dispenser (which I did). It looks so much less “busy” without that part hanging down. The dispenser features 4 chambers, but I only use 3 (shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap). As others have noted in their reviews, the pumps struggle (i.e., they don’t work) with thicker liquids. The shampoo and liquid soap dispensed just fine, but the conditioner wouldn’t dispense. I had to thin the conditioner with water, in order to get it to go through the pump. That’s really the only negative or drawback I’ve found - but there is a workaround (thinning the conditioner a bit with some water), so I don’t consider it to be a “fatal flaw.” I will say that the pumps take a LONG time to prime, when you first fill the tanks. I thought I might have received a dud, but after repeatedly pressing the button for almost an entire minute, it finally began to work. The pumps dispense a fairly miniscule amount of liquid with each press of the button, but better than releasing too much liquid at one time, I guess. I’m used to the big, 1-liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner, which have the salon-style pump tops on them - they dispense the perfect amount of product with just a single pump. To berate Better Living over that trivial detail would be nitpicking. I love the fact that I didn’t have to permanently glue this thing to the wall of my shower. I love the fact that it holds everything I used to cram into a gaudy little wire shower caddy, but it does so in a clean, simple, uncluttered, elegant manner. There are lots of dispensers to choose from, if you’re willing to silicone one of them to your shower wall forever. But if that sort of thing doesn’t appeal to you, or if you rent rather than own your home, there aren’t too many options. Fortunately, THIS dispenser gets it right; without question, it’s the one to buy under those circumstances. I love mine and I would absolutely recommend it!

Product is an epic fail
We have spent 2 years attempting to adhere this shower dispenser to the shower surround. We have three shower surrounds in this house all made of comparable materials. Of the three, two that are of similar style, have shower dispensers that adhered very successfully. The third has been a continual challenge as this particular dispenser has repeatedly failed to adhere. The first attempts were with the adhesive product supplied by the manufacturer. The latest attempt was with with a binding substance that one would expect to bond anything. While that glue held the longest, approximately 5 days, it too failed to secure this product to the wall. The most recent failure resulted in what could have easily been a long-term injury to the user as the entire unit, with full dispenser vessels, collapsed into the shower near their feet and ankle area. Additionally, replacing the now ruined shower surround will likely result in $3000-$5000 repair costs. Please order and use this product with extreme caution. Or, seek a similar product that is designed to work correctly. This is, at best, a very dangerous shower dispenser.

Favorite bathroom accessory
Another item I was skeptical about but it is actually really nice looking and sturdy. Easy to ‘install’ and set up. Only complaint unfortunately is that one of the pumps doesn’t work well where I have face wash. All the other ones work great though.

You need in your shower!
I love that it gives you suction cups to stick on the wall then you are able to take it off and clean behind it, and it does also give you glue so if you want to glue it on your shower, you can. And I love that it gives you sticky labels that are pre written out and they give you about to choose from. My favorite part of all is, is on the top where you could put a bar of soap or 2 or even your face wash. I also love it gives you a soap holder for the bottom that you can attach, if you want. Definitely will buy if mine brakes or I will give up presents to new home orders.

Took a while to find a four bottle dispenser but worth the search. Neat & compact, takes all the bottles off the floor of the shower!!

Repeat Buyer - We Love This Dispenser
I just bought another one for our cabin bathroom at the lake. We having been using this same Shower Caddy in our home for more than 16 years and just both another one for the lake. We love the neatness and convenience of the shower caddy ... no more bottles scattered all over the shower. The pumps work great however you need to prime them properly. Some thicker soaps, lotions, cream rinse and conditioners may need to be watered down slightly to make them flow easier. The best way we found to prime the pump is to put a little water first into the chamber. Push the pump button until the water is flowing smoothly through the pump and then add your soap, shampoo or conditioner to the chamber. For thick liquids we water them down slightly first and then add them to the chamber. We've used our dispenser for shampoo, cream rinse, conditioner, lotion and soap. Observations: Frequent Use: This dispenser works best if you use it frequently. If you don't use the dispenser often the liquids inside tend to thicken and can coagulate and clog the pump. I don't recommend using this dispenser for soaps or lotions you only use a couple times a month. Discolouration: The plastic on this unit will discolor over time and become more ivory or bone in color with exposure to sunlight. We have two bathrooms in our home both with Shower Caddy's in them. The one in the upstairs bathroom with the large South Facing window will discolor within a couple years. The shower caddy in the basement bathroom with only a small north facing window does not discolor. Longevity: In 16 years we've had to replace the shower caddies in our home three times, making the average life span of about 5-6 years. Generally the plastic opening button becomes brittle as the plastic ages and then eventually cracks and breaks. We have had three pumps fail, one stopped working for un-known reasons, the other two were because we left liquids in for too long and they dried up and clogged the pumps. Design Change: They changed the design slightly from the previous ones we've purchased. The open/close button has been changed slightly from previous models. Picture #1 on Amazon shows the old style PRESS Button, Picture #3 on the product listing shows the NEW Designed latching button. This is a subtle change and doesn't affect the operation of the Shower Dispenser however the new design is harder to unlatch and open than the previous design. It's too early to tell if this design change is an improvement or not, however the button on the older design was usually the first thing to fail after 3-4 years so perhaps the new design will last longer. Overall - this is still the best Shower Caddy Soap/Shampoo dispenser I've found. There are other shower caddy's out there but this is the only one I've sound with the top shelf which is very handy and useful on our family. This Shower Caddy works well, is easy to install and lasts 3-7 years. Unless something better comes along ... I will keep coming back and continue to be a repeat buyer.
