Good value

We needed this for our flooded back yard this hard winter. Due to the flooding this year in California, we had to get out our pump and old hose we had not used for about 5 drought years. The hose was rotten and full of holes, so we went to Amazon and picked this one!! It is a good choice! Glad we got it!

Inexpensive but has sprung a few leaks in the year ...

Inexpensive but has sprung a few leaks in the year I've had it. Used 3 times, but dragged it over concrete driveway, so maybe wouldn't leak if I was gentler with it. Still, the leaks are very small and it allows the pump to work at max speed. And it is so inexpensive, I don't mind having to buy a new one every few years.

This is a pretty light duty hose

This is a pretty light duty hose. It works fine, it is just pretty thin. I Stepped on it in the grass, and it developed a hole where a rock must have been.

Immediate Failure

I purchased this backwash hose in preparation for opening my pool in May (I live in Ohio). I kept the hose inside until I opened the pool and, being an experienced pool owner, I unrolled the hose making sure there was no kinks or folds. I slowly started the water into the hose and once it reached the end of the hose turned on my pool pump to backwash my sand filter. I immediately noticed 4 pinhole sized holes in the hose and one of them expanded quickly to a 3 inch hole. I literally used this hose for 2 minutes. It is now in the trash.
